Hello, nice community you got here :)

Now on to the question :D

I have set-up octopus to link my 2 computers together. under "server" tab I clicked the "toggles" button and set key broadcast to my keyboards ~ key. so when I press the ~ key it captures my second computers keyboard.
now for my question, I have f1-f4 = party members 1-4 then cast renew,
f5-f8 = cast flash heal on party member 1-4,
f9-f12 = cast greater heal on party members 1-4...
But when I push the ~ key and push f1 to cast renew on party member 1, my melee switches target to party member 1.. I then have to either tab or right-click to start attacking the mob again on my main melee character.

is there a way to push the ~ key and only have the secondary keyboard register keys so I can cast my spells and not lose my target with my melee character? I am aware I could just change the keybindings on the melee to not use f1-f4, but I am so used to using it to target my party members. My 2-boxing characters are a priest and shaman and the priest just follows the shaman around and heals when needed.

also I did search and came up with nothing. so if this is in the wiki and I missed it I apologize..

thanks for the help

No way to do custom per-character keys in Octopus. You could set it up so your main would see the keys and your alt wouldn't but there's no way to do the opposite.

ah ok thanks for that info

is this a octopus limitation or does this affect keyclone as well? if it works the way i want it to work I might just get keyclone.

thanks again
