Goon squad is a horde guild on Mal'ganis (US), which is where I play.

Last I heard (pre-wotlk) they had over 1000 members. I constantly see them everywhere.
They do everything from high end raiding to lvling to city pvp and (obviously) wintergrasp.

I heard about them first because of this joke site ('http://www.wowgoons.com/'), where they 'sell' guild memberships. :)

I never knew that Guild membership can be a source of income. No wonder Alliance is outnumbered.
Alliance: 5,362 (25%)
Horde: 16,065 (75%)

Pretty funny vid - but will most likely not be repeatable after next patch with the changes to WG.



That being said there are some awesome changes coming up for Engineering in this patch.
