Just wanted to drop a quick "hi" and introduce myself. First off all i wanted to say thank you for the great work and afford you guys brought in!

A couple of days past i decided to start with multiboxing. Luckily i had already a second account so i tried it with two more accounts (RAF trial 10 days) and will go for the Battle-box today (gg amazon 20euros). I started with 4 Druids and will try out 4 hunters today (druids hit 20 so i need to wait for the battle-box in order to upgrade the trial accounts to full accounts) or a mix of chars.

My System: Q9450 quad core, 8800 GTS, 3 GB ram, WinXP (i refuse to use Vista!), Coolermaster HAF as Case. I am running all four WoW on the same screen all on full mod (had some crazy vga-bugs with windowed mode).

As Software I use AutoHotKey ( i love the scripting part of it), as Addon: Jamba and Questhelper. All of my druids are specced caster-dps (cant wait to hit 40!), but maybe iam switching for 1 feral as tank. I'll give the Tour-addon a try tonight because i ran into some really annoying Drops-quests.

Macro:
For targeting and attacking i'am using the focus function

# note this is just pseudo code
/assist focus
/cast whatever
/follow

For Drop quests i'am having four different macros to take over the masters job with each toon. This also helps me if the master toon dies, than i just switch to the next wow window and take over the masters place by pressing the right macro for it

# note this is just pseudo code
/focus {toon1, toon2, toon3, toon4}
/report in party which toon is focus (kinda error checking)

To accept and turn in quests i use the "Interact with target" function which is bound to a specific key, so i let all the toons target the questgiver/turnin and press the "interact with target" key, which is working for 90% (sometimes its not working...). Jamba is helping a lot on this, also the Taxi is working like a charm!

Well as said i just started with the multiboxing thing and i kinda like it. It's running smooth till now, as written above i had some workarounds with the targeting/attacking functions on Jamba but the Workaround with the fast Master-switching is quite good. But anyway Jamba is offering a targeting/masterswitching function as well but i cant get it working proper. As far as i understood the targeting is done via the Raid-Icons (or am i wrong?) do i need to set up a script for this? Or what do i miss? I mean my workaround is working good, but if jamba is offering the same solution without a workaround I'd love to use it , so if someone does have a solution or a way to get it working proper i'd be glad.

Over and out from Vienna
PS: Sorry for my bad English, its been a while since i had to use it :)

Welcome.

If "interact with target" isn't working 100% then maybe one of your toons isn't in range of interaction. I've noticed when I run up to turn in quests I have to make sure all my toons are in the same spot, and sometimes I notice one is kinda straggling further behind and they wind up not being in range.

OT English lesson:
-Afford has to due with spending something to gain something else. example: I cannot afford these cookies because I have no money. I cannot afford to miss another work day.
-Effort is the word you wanted to use :D example: They put a lot of effort into their job. If you put a lot of effort into your job, perhaps you can afford a really nice house someday.
