I want to build up a 10-man team. So I made a small plan for using RAF effectively. I'd like to ask you to check it for wrong assumptions/calculations:
1. 5 guys lvl up 1-70 normally
4x29 LVLs to spend
2. Creating 5 DKs, leveling to 60
4x2 LVLs to spend
3. Leveling 4-man team to 29.9. Granting levels from (1) and (2)
3x29 LVLs to spend
4. Leveling 3-man team to 31.9 Granting levels from (3)
From lvl 60 onwards my 4-man/3-man team will be supported by one DK
I should end up with 5+4+3+2 (DKs) = 14 lvl 80s. Am I right?
Thanks a lot!

Right. You can even boost the 3-man team to 31.9 with DK from the fifth account. Those are not linked.

If the DKs are not linked, then they cant grant levels probably? And if I level 5 at once, they wont get 3 times the exp?

You continue to gain grantable levels past 60 so level 70s will have 34 levels to grant. You can still only give them to characters that are less than level 60 thought.

The DKs are linked, they get 3 times the exp when leveled together and can grant levels too. I just mean the DK on your fifth account is not linked to toons on the first three accounts, thus they will get 3 times the exp when boosted. Boosting with non-linked is proven.
In case you boost with linked high level character, the linked lowbie won't get triple exp. I'm not sure this lowbie (linked to the high level booster) gets triple exp if he has second linking to another lowbie. Maybe yes, maybe no. You can test that when leveling the 4-man team.

really!? thats nice, since my 4man team is on lvl 27, so I can grant them levels to 60.9 at once
thanks
EDIT: Are you sure about this, cant find any information about this. On Blizzard's german support site it still says only levels up to 60 count for granting levels :?:

I guess it is a problem if veteran account is linked to all other accounts directly. E.g. I receive 80% of a level every time I run scarlet armory.

You continue to gain grantable levels past 60 so level 70s will have 34 levels to grant. You can still only give them to characters that are less than level 60 thought. I am 99.9% sure that is wrong. You earn grantable levels up until 60 and can grant them back at any point during the 90 days your accounts are linked. In effect this means 1 toon can never grant more than 29 levels back to the refering account (a recent change may have made this 30). To make the most of this if the refering account has a toon at level 31.99 you can grant levels that will leave you with a 60.99 toon.

yes, there is a recent change that made the granted level to 30 from a 60 raf char.

Confirmed,
I leveled a toon from 1 to 60 and was able to grant 30 levels.
I will level this toon further to see if he can grant more than that, but I'm 99% sure he won't be able. For one thing, the triple XP no longer applies once he hits 60. If the 60 toon is paired with 59 toon and kills a mob, the 60 toon gets normal rested XP, but 59 toon gets triple XP.

Having 5 shamans @ 70 from RAF (80 now) I can assure you that there are no grantable levels earned past 60.

My DKs were able to spend 3 Lvls btw. I guessed 2 only. But its really 3. Thats quite nice, considering that it only takes 3-4 hours to leave starter zone and those lvls can be granted to a lvl 57 buddy.

just another question, my second team got level granted. Can those levels be granted to my third team (ofc every 2nd granted level only)? ?(

I also discovered the following, but I'm not sure:
Account 1 has toon A at level 45, referred account 2.
Then I transferred toon A from account 1 to 2, toon A suddenly now has levels to grant. I was able to grant at least 3 levels, but I didn't dare do it too much because I don't know the limit. I'm going to boost toon A (with a level 80 booster and a whole team of RAF of course) to 60, and see how many levels he has. This sounded like a bug, but a very nice bug.
