Hi I'm just new here! I learned a lot from every post in this forums.

Anyway I have 5 accounts. Each with good amount of level 60 and 1 level 80. I'm a lazy TOS reader and I just found out that all account information should be genuine. Account names can't be change and they will need some ID's if something happens to your account or get suspended. I'm not used to sharing my personal information online which is why I made up names for my accounts. Should I just cancel those accounts and start a new before everything screws up at high levels or are there people who also use different names to secure their privacy? Are there ways to prove to them that you really own the accounts since day 1 and be considered?

Please advice...

If you actually, genuinelly, own the accounts and you just used fictitious names then I'd give the Blizzard accounts department a call.

I can't remember the details, but there's something rattling round the back of my head that somebody here successfully got the information updated under similar circumstances some time ago.

They'll at least be able to tell you if anything can be done.

If you draw a blank then you're better off getting new accounts - it's only a matter of time before you get the "reported!!11eleventyone" whisper and a nice GM comes to look at you.

Either way, it's best to tackle it head on rather than keep your head down and hope for the best :)

When I converted all my accounts to a battle.net login, it allowed me to assign 1 name and address to all of the accounts I imported to the battle.net accounts.

2 of my accounts where My middle name, last name, old address. 3 where first name, last name, current address. When I did the battle.net conversion. I just used First Name, Last Name, current address, and it used this info for the 2 that had old info.
