One of my accounts will no longer log in, it gets to "retrieving characters" and then goes back to log in screen. Only one account does this! I can make it in if I only load up one wow window (from that directory) and it is INCREDIBLY slow logging in! Only thing I changed was I loaded up a new team in IS. Arrrrgh.

Did you give them new virtual config.wtf's ? If so make sure you reset the anti-aliasing back to 1x.

wow I didnt think that would cause login issues! You can never know if it will or will not cause an issue*.
*unless you've encountered it before.
I myself had a fun run-in with the ISBOXER addon. For a team of mine I just copied the profiles of a couple other characters and renamed them, but I forgot to change their character name in the character profile within the toolkit. So for a while I had an extra "ghost" character on my jamba team list that would keep popping back up.

ok I do not have video settings changed... so now what?
edit: same account, same problem it takes about 5 mins to log in to the character select screen. Not the game, the select screen.

Log into the same account without IS and I bet it gives you the same results.

yes it does, what is wrong?
edit: I think now is a good time to ask a question: Should I be making new "files" for each character set? ISboxer has gotten pretty bloated with 3 sets of teams and characters now. Will that cause issues? I only share character maps and setups and the character maps I share are the mouserepeater and keyrepeater toggles. Everything else is brand new.

yes it does, what is wrong?I've seen this before and it usually passes on it's own - it's some form of problem on Blizzards side.

quick check to wow forums mention an ip renew to see if it clears up problem. I'll try that.
edit: WTF!!! If you have an account that's a straggler (ie, not a battlenet account) you WILL have problems logging in... I went and made it a battlenet account and I got right in. That's fucked up.

I don't run IS, but I've had this happen to me twice now. I discovered that if I log into account management, it fixes the issue. I've also advised a friend of mine to do that and it cleared his up. I don't have any of mine set up as battlenet accounts yet.

Wow, interesting fix. Thanks for posting your solution.
