Bored of WoW... what should I play?

WoW get boring some days, so I'm looking for another game to play

Might start playing Shattered Galaxy again =)

I'd recommend checking out EQ2. It isn't very far off from WoW. It's also rather multibox-friendly, though the client is much more resource intensive than WoW.



I may or may not get reamed for saying this, but EQ2 feels like it has much more depth than WoW. WoW is, unabashedly, a video game. It seems as if Blizzard doesn't really care whether or not you want immersion or storyline; they just want to provide a game that anyone and everyone can play and enjoy. EQ2, if you're willing, has a boatload of content to explore; all of which feels so much more tangible than WoW's atmosphere. It also has interesting (to an extent, any content is going to be boring the 15th time through) endgame content, and a HUGE nostalgia factor if you ever played EQ1.

I just started playing Arma2 and apart from being buggy, some of the servers running mods are actually quite good, really gives you a feel for the scale of war. It is a milsim FPS though, if you're into that kind of thing.

The free mmo that I fall back on for the last year or so has been Requiems Bloodymare. Its quite gory
