Basic setup

i was wondering if anyone could make me a basic setup for a 3 person team, any time i try to make one 1 of the characters seems to ignore 1 of the things i want it to do.

a few things i would like in it.

3 dummy characters
PIP
a FLT based system.
1 dps button sending to actionslot 1 (including some form of assist)
a follow button
a formation button, a single walk to the sides would be nice.


any help would be really nice

yeah have seen it and follow it and still it aint working well sometimes some of it works and sometimes it dont.

just use HKN works greaat for me and if it dont work u can blame anyone but yourself cus you write your own scripts

If you want it to use an action button on slot 1, you need to make the action button in the game (ISBoxer will not do this for you, but will do all the hidden macros you want), and use a Keystroke Action as opposed to a WoW Macro Action. You can press 1 and have it do a WoW Macro Action that presses something else, like Q W E R T Y, [ ] \ and so on. I will add support for this kind of feature soon. This is usually the source of confusion -- thinking that the button you push is the button that needs to be assigned to the WoW Macro Action.

It is much easier to help you with your configuration if you share your config. Referring back to our conversation the other day in the chat channel, I think your Mapped Key probably would have worked better if it used only one key instead of two, and if you were using WoW Macro Actions assigned to 1,2,3, etc then see the first paragraph -- and we could have tested the macro in the game without the hotkey potentially interfering. If you want you can come back to the channel and we can get something figured out

problems is the when i press 1 on the character ecru nothing happens, it do how ever work on the other 2.

how here is the kicker, when i press the follow button (g12) on ecru everything works like a charm.

thats my problem.

and thats why i requested a simple basic setup where i can see in the program what is done (that the way i learn things the best).

If you don't load Innerspace does 1 work to make Ecru attack?

button 2 and 3 dont work.
it do work if the hotkeys are off.

the assist button also work fine.

Did you make sure that CTRL+button and SHIFT+button were unbound so there was no FTL conflict?

The one you are having trouble with is FTL set to your Right Alt key... does your keyboard by chance have an ALT-GR key on the right side instead of just a normal ALT key? Try switching to right ctrl-shift and see if that works. (This is done in character sets.)

Yeah I tried to get him to change it from Right Alt to something else when he was in the chat channel the other day.

I tried that, and for some wierd reason it worked but then the follow button broke (nothing changed but that right alt button to left shift+right ctrl on ecru).

also the keyboard is a G15, and the right alt just say "Alt" not an alt gr.

this time when ever she is active nothing happens when i press 1, but the others work fine.

Was just about to update this myself :) Thanks Lax

for some reason it seems that Alt (in general not just right alt) didnt wanna work, so we changed it to lshift+lctrl

Thanks to Lax for the few hours of helping out.
