this is not the official next release... since i said it would contain the multi-monitor support.

you can download and try the latest here:

http://solidice.com/keyclone/downloads.html

there are no known issues with this version. please send me a PM if you have any problems.

here is the current list of updates for v1.7t:

o bug fix: maximizer's snap-to-grid working
o bug fix: empty region name in command editor now showing properly

note: i will ask for this thread to get removed once the main version is released

I'm not understanding how to manage the 2nd display, no matter what I set the \\.\DISPLAY1 dropdown to it creates the region on display1.

After reseting my regions and exiting keyclone...
[regions]
count=0

Starting keyclone I found 1 region auto-defined as full screen display 1.
[regions]
count=1
region_name_00=''
region_00=1,0,0,1280,1024,0,0
region_pip_00=0,(0.0.0)

I selected \\.\DISPLAY2 from the dropdown, and clicked the [+] button to add a region. It created a 'region1' 50,50,800,600 region. Display dropdown is still set to \\.\DISPLAY2 but I'm still seeing the green field at 0,0,1280,1024 showing the full region.
[regions]
count=2
region_name_00=''
region_00=1,0,0,1280,1024,0,0
region_pip_00=0,(0.0.0)
region_name_01='region1'
region_01=1,50,50,850,650,0,0
region_pip_01=0,(0.0.0)

So if I'm seeing this right the region_0# defines:
display,(x,y of top left),(x,y of bottom right),?,?

Is that right?

sorry zanthor... multi-display is not done yet. this one allowed you to select the displays... but that is it. once i get it working 100%... i will release a non-alpha

(i know.. you are chomping at the bit for it... and i'm working on it specifically for you)

Well that explains why it doesn't work how I'd expect!

Thanks,

Even though I don't use software tools to box with, count me in on the championing. :)

Multi monitor support (more than 2) is pretty big on my list of nice stuff to be available for boxers.

cant any of the CTRL, ALT or SHIFT keys to the white/black listing, is no dire problem though, as i've been setting up the new hardware system. found a cheap multiplexer at 2nd hand shop ^^

sucks to be ps2 tho, hope that vetra give some info on their USB version, and hope it wasnt just hype.

Google Maximizer.exe and find device=2 in the config file. Remove the # sign. Launch maximizer.exe for each account from your desktop. I use a folder with each account to launch separately.
wow1...ini file
wow1...txt file(same as above so u can make changes)
wow2...ini file
wow2...txt file(etc)
wow3...ini file
wow3...txt file
THEN just click on the ini file within the folder and watch the client load.

ex. c:\wow1\maximizer.exe --margin 0,0,0,0 for the main account...config file will launch default to the screen your folder is in.

c:\wow2\maximizer.exe --margin 30,384,680,60 2nd account...config file has # sign removed at device=2 and will launch to the 2nd monitor

Be sure and launch your keyclone program before you do the main account(always do main last).

Hope this brief post helps you out. The hard part is getting the dimensions set right for the 2nd monitor.

Sun thanks for the info but I'm well aware of Maximizer and it's capabilities, however having this built into keyclone lets me automatically assign keymaps, throttle framerates, and launch everything with a single application...

Let alone the PIP feature Rob is talking about, thats going to be teh-sex for multiboxing on a single pc!
