I'm running a 4/5 man grp, well geared 80 pala tank (just for instances) with a bm hunter, demo lock, boomkin and a priest now for healing. They are lvl 70-71 atm.

I'm using click to cast (while playing the tank 100% manually), :) and it's fantastic, but my question is can anyone help me with click to cast macros for my healing priest? I used to have all on one macro, but I don't want delays.. I managed nexus with my partner healing today, but would like to be more self-sufficient.

I'm using my big button..

/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton1
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton2
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton3
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton4
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton5
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton6
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton7

So any help would be greatly appreciated after trying to use voice healing!

Most of your healing will be on the Paladin.
But you'll want some group heals as well.

I'd have a few heals set up where you assist the mob.
Renew, Flash Heal and Greater Heal.
For damage to the pally who is tanking, this will work fine.

To do this, use the assist method of choice.

#show Renew
/assist Pally
/cast [help] Renew; [help, target=targettarget] Renew; [target=player] Renew

Can do the same for Flash Heal and Greater Heal.
The first condition will heal the pallies target if that is friendly.
If that fails then it attempts to heal the target of the pallies target (which should be the pally).
If both conditions fail, it defaults to healing the priest.
You could change the last condition to [target=Pally'sName] Renew, if you'd like.

Prayer of Mending is extremely efficient, you'll likely want the priest to cast this on the same keybind as your DPS toons and tank keys.
If your DPS macro and tank macro are on Key 1, put something like this on key 1 too:

#show
/target pally
/castsequence reset=combat Prayer of Mending,,,Renew,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Give it as many comma's (do not casts) as you think you'll need.
Basically you don't want this macro to fire off, as your DPS toons are DPSing, if someone else needs a heal.

A lot of people will have a heal to specific toons as well.
Numpad 1, might be heal your Lock.
Numpad 2, might be heal your Boomkin.
Numpad 3, might be heal your Hunter.
Numpad 4, might be heal your Priest.

You'll likely have Prayer of Healing on a keybind as well.

Basically with a set up like this, you can:
a) Renew, Flash Heal, Greater Heal on Pally's target or target of pally's target.
b) Get Renew and Prayer of Mending on the Pally as part of your DPS macro.
c) Have the ability to Flash Heal a specific toon quickly.

Everyone has their own system, something will work for you.

I am not too far along but for what it is worth i have made a big step in my healing proficiency recently by using healbot.

Prior to that i had a 5 buttons for selecting members and locked all of my healing into my mouse buttons.
Was working fine/great for healing the tank (who is in my main window ~ priest in an alt window) but i could just not switch fast enough or intuitively enough for my others.

Healbot saved me there (onscreen click to heal bar for your party) ~ i dont have to deselect my tank and can just mouse over and click alt click left click whatever my other members in need without much focus being taken off the fight. It has also proven invaluable for my Pally tank to off heal here and there without, again, taking too much focus off of the fight.

Hope this helps!
(on a side note this also frees up ALOT of buttons off of my action bars ~ i took ALL of my healing spells off of my pally bars since i can access everything i need on the healbot interface)

I'll second healbot. Pretty vital for raid healing as a multiboxer.

I've heard great things about Healbot too. When my twins are re-activated post 3.2 and they get to 80, I plan on installing Healbot for the holy priest for when she raids with my guild.

To make your life a lil simpler I would suggest you macro the pali also instead of doing manually
something along the lines of

/use 13
/use 14
/castsequence reset=combat Holy Shield, Hammer of the Righteous, Judgement of Light,Shield of Righteousness,Consecration, Hammer of the Righteous, Holy Shield,Shield of Righteousness,Judgement of Light, Hammer of the Righteous, Consecration,Shield of Righteousness

Recently I dual specced one of my ele shammies to resto to use for some boss fights. I use jamba and found healing easier if I changed the low health warning sent to the raid channel to include the button I should press to heal that toon ie if shammy 1 needs a heal then the raid warning displays:

1 - Heal Shammy 1

so I know to press 1

makes it a no brainer.

That is a very good idea.
Jamba already includes optional warnings when hit.

Mine are currently... "cute", but that would be useful, which is preferable.
