View Full Version : Target Raid icon question
I got this idea insted of useing focus to target would it be possible to target a raid icon forexample if you set skull on a mob and then a macro that somehow works like /Target skull insted of /target focus
because that would be really amazing, both pve wise and pvp wise

game mechanics don't allow this, unfortunately

You can do this by making a macro to set the raid symbol to skull and party1 sets it to his focus. Another to set symbol to square and party2 sets it to his focus.
Then to target the skull have a macro that on party1 targets focus. Everyone else does a /target party1.
For your dps macros use /cast [target=target, harm][target=targettarget, harm] spell
It's kind of a work around but it should work. It also ties up your focus but you could just use the player's name for that instead.

I thought Jamba had a feature to apply raid icons to mobs.
And another to make targetexact macro's on the fly.
So you can keybind apply skull icon.
And it will, on the fly, make a macro to targetexact the name of the mob you put the skull on.
You need to keybind apply each icon you use.
You need to keybind target the mob I marked.
It will probably break, if you're trying to target/mark four mobs of the same level with the same name.
I know Dot Timer can track damage to multiple different mobs.
But I don't think you can click anything to do with the addon to get Square as your target.
