Is there anyway to have 3 or more monitors with one PC?

I realize that IF this were possible you would need multiple graphics cards, but would you be able to have a resolution of 3360x2100?(using 4 monitors at 1680x1050 as an example)

Yes. You can easily have 4 monitors with 2 modern graphics cards.

Getting to 5120 x 4800 (as I have) is not terribly complicated.

Some systems, like mine, support 6 monitors (with three video cards and newer motherboards). With special graphics cards or lots of basic PCI cards, you could have over 10.

2d would be fast but 3d performance would be terrible.

So for running WoW it really wouldn't be worth it, but would the monitors on the "main" graphics card still be able to run 3d well?

or would having that many monitors more or less kill your 3d preformance as a whole?

Yes, they would.

Sweet, so I would be able to both continue to play WoW and have other monitors for whatever... Now to try and convince the fiance that we need 2 more monitors...

My main setup has the 4 monitors, two graphics cards, then the quad-core, very convenient if I have to pack up and move stuff.
