Affliction Lock /click macros... I think I'm stuck on Reset

Hey all,
I've got a team around 60-61... My shaman dps macro works fine, my druid dps macro works fine, but I'm having trouble with the lock for some unknown reason...

my macros activated by /click are as follows (in this order)

Curse of Exhaustion
/castsequence reset=target [nochanneling] Curse of Exhaustion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,etc

Corruption
/castsequence reset=target [nochanneling] Corruption,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,etc

Unstable Affliction
/castsequence reset=target [nochanneling] Unstable Affliction,,,,,,,,,etc

Spam
/castrandom [nochanneling] Drain Life, Drain Mana, Drain Soul, Drain Soul, Drain Soul


However, the DOTs never seem to cast... I'll occasionally see corruption, but neither of the other two spells. I'm just always channeling something. Am I misusing nochanneling or reset?

/castsequence reset=target/5 Corruption,null
cast it once until yeh switch target

this is the macro I use

/stopmacro [channeling]
/use 13
/use 14
/target gond-target
/petattack [Felhunter target=gond-target]
/petattack [target=frost tomb,exists]
/click ActionButton4
/castsequence reset=target/5 Corruption,null
/cast shadow bolt

actionbar4 macro

it seems that castsequence completely ignores the reset time.

when spamming:


/castsequence reset=5/target Shadow Bolt,,,,,,,,,,

it will cast the shadow bolt on any new target, but will evaluate all commas (i.e it takes 10 key presses until the next SB comes up.

anyone else experienced this ?

Your macros need to be:

/castsequence [nochanneling] reset=target

Reset condition goes after the brackets.

reset=5 means 5 seconds without the macro being pushed at all, not 5 seconds without casting anything.

I found it as well and created a post for it, since I see it often mistaken for cooldown.

You also don't need to have [nochanneling] in every sub click macro. Just put it in the main macro, I have a /stopmacro [channeling] in the master in mine.

And, I switched from Affliction, to Demo, and finally to Destro, and at 80 at least, Destro is pulling way more DPS than my mage or shadowpriest with less gear, and more than double the dps now that my lock is equally geared.
