That setup can handle 5 wows ok with windows 7 or vista 64 to be able to use all your ram, but with that cpu dont expect much. Also as far as 10 boxing on that machine, There is no way to get that processor to handle it, even 5 is pushing it on that. For now id say download the free windows 7 64 so you can use all your ram.
ok what prossesor should i get for my board to handle 10 boxing or even 5 and ill just run 2 comps

It depends on your budget, you can build a second machine to run 5 more wows "decently" for about $500 and run 2 machines, 5 on each. Or you can build a machine for 800-1000 to run all 10 on failry smoothly. With the lower costs of everything lately I definately would go with a quad core, most likely amd as they are best for price to performance ratio. Somewhere on here someone had a post about running 20 WoWs on a single AMD quad core phenom 3.0 with like 24 gigs of ram lol.
looked at my board specs and came up with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103471 what ya think would that be enough and to pull it out of sli and keep the rest of my components? for 10

Thats a sweet chip if your board can run AM3 you should double check. Also WoW cant properly use SLI anyway.
hmmm i almost ordered it ill check real quick

XP 64bit can handle 8GB of RAM. My XP system can run 7 WoWs ok, but it is well under your specs.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-motherboard-sli,1927-6.html my board
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103471 is an am2+ socket there for should work with my board right?

Im at work so i dont really have time to research it but i didnt see anything on there saying which socket that board is, in order to run the 940 deneb chicp you need a board with am2 support capabale of up to 125w chips.
ah ok well i went to msi and its a am2+/am2 with am3 ready and has the zip file for the chip on msi site for it lol wow i make no sence all in all it should work according to msi.com the board is a k9n2 diamond

I havent used nero in like 2 years, it should if you set the disc to data dvd i think than burn the .iso directly to it.
tryed it and i restarted and blah all to hell no boot from cd

You need to burn the ISO as an image, not as a data disk. As a data disk the disk will not be bootable, and is well, just the ISO on a disk.
i still cant find a iso burner program
i think my dumb a$$ figured it out lol
well my new processor in processed and verified and according to newegg CS i should have it tomorrow :)

Nice, your gonna notice a huge improvement going to 4 cores
But also you really need a 64 bit OS, having 8 gigs and only getting to use 3.5 of it sux
new os is windows 7 64bit i like it so far and i know down the road ill have 10 pcs but for now im being cheap lol now for the dreaded wow install here goes 4 hours of my life
new problem how do i get keyclone on windows 7 i tryed to unzip and it failed

How important would you folks rate the speed of Phenom CPUs for just 5-boxing? Sure it's best to go as high as they make 'em, but I'm cheap too. I just got an email that ChiefValue (Newegg's sister site) has quite a sale going on. A 2.3Ghz (http://www.chiefvalue.com/product-_-productdetails.cv_-_item--CE00153784010060) is only $90, to 2.6GHz (http://www.chiefvalue.com/product-_-productdetails.cv_-_item--CE00154895010060) for $130, and 2.8GHz (http://www.chiefvalue.com/product-_-productdetails.cv_-_item--CE00155413010060) is $150.
Currently I have the same CPU as the original poster, X2 3.0 GHz. It's done just great at 2-boxing, even in Dalaran. Upgrading the CPU should be my last piece before I activate the other accounts to start 5-box RAFing. Can one get by at just 2.3GHz?
thanks for all the help my new processor the amd phenom 11 x4 3.0 ghz black edidtion came today and i put it in and first thing loaded all my chars in dalaran and same thing fps lagg. so i pulled up task manage and realized it was only using core 1 and 2 not 3 an 4. so i closed out my wows and went into keyclone and assinged each char to all 4 cores after trying multipule core configureations and im using 50% cpu in dala now. wooot
