I was really hoping to start up a new thread for x5 druid players to offer tips/tricks to us noobs...

Things akin to:

When you hit 30 and your team gets "Travel Form" this doesn't mean that you can go from travel form to stealth....doh!!!!

Plenty of room below to throw out fun things and suggestions...thanks a bunch.

druids were easy to level. They are only casters and mow down everything without stopping. get your forms as they come up, but you don't need them often up to 60. 5 boomkins kick out alot of DPS and they can all tank and heal as needed. Spam Wrath and keep up the DoTs, 3 DoTs x 5 tear through mobs.

I did mine as feral until 68 while collecting caster gear in outlands. Then switched to boomkin when I went to northrend. I liked kitty for the extra run speed, and once you get mangle your team pretty much one-shots everything.

All in how you wanna play. Some folks hate melee groups, some folks don't care one way or the other. /shrug

I did mine as casters. Just point and shoot. 5x anything for the first 70 levels will pretty much one shot any non elite.

Moonfire X 5 has to be annoying as hell to anyone on the oppisite faction on a pvp server.

I did mine as Balance spec from 1-80, dual speccing my main as a feral tank for instancing.

Actually after a small amount of input -

I've just started 5 druids with the intent of doing mostly instances (I play 3, my son plays 2) and having just started Dead Mines at level 18 we are encountering massive mana issues on every boss. I am running 1 tank and 2 dps / healers, and the other two druids are purely dps but generally all the casters are going oom when the boss is at about 30% health. Casters are currently geared with quest greens and have 850 mana, doing about 25dps spamming wrath. Does this get better?

You have so few of your abilities yet and the gear, espeically in azeroth just blows. Yes you will probably be drinking quite often at low levels, it's nothing to worry about. Most classes honestly don't resemble what they will truly be till about lvl 55+.
