Tempted to Start the Heroic Grind Again

With the new change to the emblem system I may be tempted to do the heroic grind again. The patch changes the emblem drop to conquest which will let you gear up with valor and conquest rewards. Between the valor and conquest items you could have a pretty nice set of PVE gear. The end result would most likely be a huge waste of time to look at new epics. It may be worth it if my guild ever starts boxing future raids.

Anyone else thinking about the heroic grind again after the patch?

yeah, Im going to at least get 2 pieces t8 on my 3 toons, others already have 4 piece, so ill just buy orbs and make some resto stuff.
Oh and I really should do occ....I never been there so my toons can get that longest title ever.

I will be doing this, but only because I will have a new team since I switched to alliance. I love the change!

Yea unfortunately with the current gear/badge gear you get from heroics, it's really not worth it to do much more than get the trinket and the heirloom items and maybe one other piece of gear. You could probably obtain all the badges you need with just a week's worth of hard grinding.

I've just been pvp'ing, mostly in AV, for the hateful gear which is just about as good dps stat wise, and vastly superior sta and surviabiltiy wise compared to heroic gear crap.

But with the upcoming changes, I'll be running heroics again once 3.2 actually lands.

I am sooooo looking forward to the badge change. It was one of my biggest beefs with WoLK, this puts it more in line with what we had at the end of BC.

I'm definately looking forward to 3.2 since my DK + 4x shamans have all the non-bop raid gear i can get. This will breathe new life into that team. :thumbup:
