Hey folks,
I've just resubbed my multibox accounts after seven months of shelving them, inspired partly by the sight of Funkstar's team of shamans sauntering around Dalaran kitted out in full tier 7.5 :D
My five shammies are still level 70 and kitted in the blue faction PvP gear from Outland. I've got the horrendous task of grinding my way to 80 through Northrends collection-heavy quests.
I was wondering if any other boxer has put together a questing guide for Northrend that avoids most of the collection quests, except those that are part of a chain with good rewards at the end?

Nope,
No guides.
Prepare, it wont be fun 70-80. You will have to do a lot of collection quests and do around 8-12 hours a level. But the fun is worth it on 80!
If you're thinking what can i clear heroics with this expension its 1 tank 4 shamans. Instead of 5 shamans in TBC.
I hope this was useful,
Kind regards
Steven

Fortunately, I have a Naxx25 geared prot pally to throw into the mix :)
1. Use Jamba
2. Use the new feature "Interact with target"
3. If you use Maximizer, use PiP to change up your main when you finish the collection quest on one of your toons
4. Use Jame's Leveling guides ('http://www.wow-pro.com/wiki/70-80_wotlk_leveling_guides') for Northrend.
5. Skip Zul'Drak zone, just a ridiculous amount of collection quests.
6. Definietly go to Sholazar Basin, lots of kill quests.
Doing these 6 things should help your leveling time substanially. Yes it is still going to be a pain in the butt though.

A few months ago (patch 3.1 I think), Blizz added "Interact with Target" and "Interact with Mouseover" functions that you can bind keys to. Have a look in your keybinding screen.
So now you can:
1. Target a corpse with your master
2. Have your slaves assist the master to aquire the same target
3. Use your Interact with Target key
and the slaves will all try to loot the corpse.
It also works for interacting with NPC's such as quest givers and flight masters.
If you have the keys to spare (I love my G11 keyboard), you can bind the "Interact with Target" key for your alts to different keys. No need to switch windows for your alts to grab quest drops. Ok, alt 2 is done, use alt 3's loot key. Alt 3 is done, now use alt 4's key to loot. For drops that everyone can pick up, an "All Loot" key as your 2nd binding for "Interact with Target" is great.

There are guides. Someone has a page listing what to do in order for each zone. It uses Silverlight... which is annying becuase you can't highlight items as you complete them to track where you are, but the list is helpful. That same person has TourGuide addon data files that lead your through each zone. I seem to have a 'suvega' directory in my TourGuide area.... that might be the name of the person here.
I search for some of these terms int eh forums here: TourGuide, Lightheaded, TomTom, suvega.... should be pretty easy to find.
I've hit 80 with 3 zones left over on multiples toons.

I think you might be right :)
Suvega wrath guide is now available. Come geets it. (Multi-Multiboxer Blog) ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=16268&highlight=northrend+guides+suvega')

Erm. Why would you want to do that?
I have mine set to a single key for all characters and just let them fight amongst themselves for completion. Once I see that they're all done (from QH, or the fact that the corpse still glitters after they've finished looting) I start picking the stuff up on my main.
My main has the same key bind of course, but I just make sure he's out of range to actually loot until they're done.
With click-to-move on the drones, they all march over and loot the far-away bodies while my main stays where he was.
It's all become really easy with interact and click-to-move working together :)

Some quests let you keep picking up quest items even after you have enough for a quest turn in. The quest where you're picking up Pirate ears comes to mind. What a waste to have the same 2 toons picking up more and more ears just because they randomly get to loot first. Also, it somehow helps me feel like I'm making progress on a quest to know that I have 3 out of 5 toons finished, now I've got 14 of the 35 items left to pick up.

Oh yes. Fair point. I'd forgotten about that sort of multiple turn-in quest. I mouse over to the appropriate drone's screen for that, just like with collecting things that can't be targetted and interacted with.
