So Gurb hit 68 on his solo DK, and StealthAngel and I took him to Karazhan. So StealthAngel's mixed team at 76, and 4/5 of my team at 80. Much fun was had, we did a total clear, chess took us 2 tries but it was a good time.

And let it be know the chess was completely my noob fault. It was my first Karazhan run and macroon was hiding Blizzards action bar so I couldnt move etc.. DOH! Worked much better the second time around with the icons turned on ;P

i remember soloing chess, I hated it, main reason I i haven't been back in kara since 70.

Chess isn't too bad. It's just so damn random that you can go from complete EZMode to "No freaking way!"

any tips on karazhan chess event? im going to try do kara with my 1 pala 4 shaman team this week.

Only advice I got for you Hurricane is to bring some one else makes the chess event so much easier, you get on a healer and have whoever you bring get on the king. Your shaman can get on pawns or what ever, and then have your friend go kill there king and you heal him.

Do forget the big dragon with the beams forgot his damn name. Unless u got uber dps u need 2 more people to interrupt the beams so that boss doesnt get the stupid buffs.

Just place one shaman per beam. The beams dragon has only 700k HP. You can burn him really fast if you blow heroism.

Just place one shaman per beam. The beams dragon has only 700k HP. You can burn him really fast if you blow heroism.

Lol i aint that coordinated to do that. Ill just hope to blow him dead before the beams.
