Hi. I'm trying to make a simple /assist and then judgment of light macro on my second paladin which I dual box.
For the first hour I made a macro with the two lines -
/assist main
/cast judgment of light
And it worked - he would judge first the assisted target and then remain in auto attack.
But suddenly the macro stopped working. Now my guy only doesn't judge but only auto attacks. I tried making a new macro, making settings default, but its the same.
What is goin on?

I am currently leveling a 4 man pally team. I have 3 basic macros.
My Follow Macro
/target Iamspartakus
/focus
/follow
My Judgement Macro
/assist [target=focus, exists]
/castsequence reset=10 Judgement of Light
My Heal Macro
/cast [target=focus-target-target] Flash of Light
I am also spam consecration which is awesome. I hope this helps you.

The idea is to figure out what is happening. The macro is correct as you have already seen, so you have to do some snooping.
When you push the macro, does the pally get the mob soon enough to make sure the judgement isn't failing? You say he is auto-attacking. What happens if you push the macro 2 secs after you get a mob? Pick a mob that won't hurt you for 30 secs but still has some hitpoints. Pick the mob on your main. Push the macro when you are 40 yards from the mob. Does the pally always target the mob? You should hear, not in range error. If you do always, then you can check the timing on the mob and pally assistng. Target the mob at 5 yards, but no attacking. Push macro after 4 secs and see what happens. That should be enough time for the alt to get the mob targeted. If not, try: /cast [target=MainName-target] Judgement of Light. My guess is it takes longer to target a mob, than to cast a spell on it.
The next part is your alt is trying to target a wrong mob, but the option to continue to fight even if mobs change (in combat section of options, don't remember exact name), makes him attack the next thing that hits him. This is kinda low of happening unless the mob is hitting the alt.
Just take one step at a time. See if the alt actually assist correctly away from the mob. Then see if the spell works (already done). And then try closer to the mob. Somewhere you wil notice a patteren (doens't work in first .5 secs, but does later). Then you just have to adjust (like push button slower or put in a delay like: /castsequence [target=MainName-target] reset=combat/target , Judgement of Light
Hope that helps, good luck.

Your macro is fine and is basically what I'm using until I get Crusader Strike. Heh, bet you $5US that you forgot to refresh Seal of Righteousness. You MUST have a seal buff active before you can judge. ;)

Why do you use a castsequence (with a reset condition to booth) for just one spell? You don't even have commas to pass to a second cast line. I really can't see the difference between that castsequence and /cast Judgement of Light

I dont know ... i copy and paste alot of my pre exisiting macros to make new ones ... so i think i might have taking a macro from one of my warlocks and just cut it to my pallys. I love the pallys by the way .. lots of fun ...
1. Make sure to check your macro book and make sure the spelling of all words are correct. (something i add a random letter to the spell name by accident, but happens often when fiddling with macros)
2. Make sure both characters are in the same party
3. Make sure the target you are assisting is indeed the leader of the group, you can't assist yourself w/o a target.
4. Make sure the key press is actually going across (pressing E on one windows presses E on the other).
5. Reset your keybindings if all else fails, then remap, and make sure the keys aren't assigned to 2 things.
Quick solution question first...
Did you remember to recast Seal of Whatever?

Im going to agree with Ugmyhedhurts and Tdog, you most likely forgot to refresh your seal.
