There is a now a 20 minute timer on this battleground. After that time, the team with the most flag captures wins. If this would result in a tie, the team that captured the first flag wins. If neither side has captured a flag, then the game ends in a tie.

But yeah.. a 20 minute cap will definitely help with XP gain.

Yeah i loved that too! im tired of like 45 min WSG and sometimes longer i just found it a waste of timePFFFFTTT.... I would of LOVED it if my WSG only lasted 45 mins! I have been in so many GD WSG games that have lasted 2+ hours that I haven't played that GD battleground in a year. Even if you actually do win and get 3 badges, you still lose from wasting so much of your life searching for some complete jackass who thinks it's hilarious to try to hide the flag for an hour even when it's obvious that his team hasn't a chance in hell of winning.

AB has the Point Goals to reach before the other team. They are lowering the required points to 1600 in both this and EotS. So first team to reach 1600 wins. This will lower the time it takes as well. Now, WsG could last indefinite if neither team cap all 3 flags. Was always a waste of my time fighting these things. I just got the marks I needed then stayed out of them. I'm wondering tho, since they added in the currency panel with WotLK, do the marks you collect in the BGs still have a cap as to how many you can hold? If they do, any idea how many it is now? I'd like to run the hell out of AV once i hit 50 with my teams and grab up alot of the pvp gear they have now, or just start storing it up for the 3.2 patch. No tellin at that point tho if they will change the mark system to even it all out for people getting into the BGs for the first time vs the twinks that are already stocked up on them. I just hope they actually add more pvp gear than whats already available to us now. My season 1 Gladiator set is still serving my hunter pretty well at the stage he's at in soloing quests in Northrend. I haven't capped at 80 yet or run any instances, but that gear's still holding up. I'd like to see more pvp gear sets for all these 19+ twinks.
