Hey all, I'm interested in dual boxing 2 toons with the RaF simply so I can level fast. I want to get a 60 paladin so I figured I would do that and possibly a fire mage for dps. Has anyone tried this combo and do you know how easy it is as far as micro-managment goes? If I wasn't going to go with a mage, what would be another viable option to dual box a paldain with? I saw in another thread people advising paladin/shaman, but I would prefer to stay away from shaman since I've already multiboxed shaman.

Finally, if I didn't go with either a paladin or a mage, what would be a good class to pair with a druid?

Thanks in advance for all of the info you can give me.

Oh and YES I have used the search feature but I didn't find the info I was looking for

I have asked some question on pally/mage... and i am currently playing a pally/mage pair..@ lvl 51..

i spec prot for my pally and frost for my mage.. i find frost for my mage could do quite some dps and the initial part is not too hard and compared to fire, frost produce less threat. Till the pally gets righteous fury and righteous defense, its hard for pally to keep aggro. Therefore, i think frost is the way to go.

esp when my pally is going in to mob groups, my mage simply juz stand behind and cast blizzard..

this is my setup for pally/mage.

- pally goes in and tank a group of around 5, starts with a hammer
- at the same time, mage cast frostbolt
- pally cast Consecration
- mage cast blizzard all the way

if my pally lose aggro, i will use righteous defense.

for me, its quite fun and fast since my mage could teleport to cities and at 40, teleport the group over.

hope my 5cents helped. :P

I agree with NobodyZ, based upon my experience, I'd spec the mage frost. The mage WILL pull agro from the paladin at will with fire, and sometimes even with frost, but at least with frost, the mobs will walk slowly towards the mage, letting the paladin stab them in the back trying to regain agro! :P

Somewhere aloong the line, blizzard has been buffed, I think, as it really does the trick now!

yeah baby.. and i am quite glad to say that i could do zul'farrak on my pally/mage at level 47.. though its quite painful towards the end but having my mage just spamming on blizzard really makes the game so much more interesting to me.. :p

hope you have fun ! :D
