Im thinking of coming back, again, lol. Damn addiction. I was thinking of re-subscribing, but I'm worried I will get bored in 4 hours, like last time, and $75 bucks is a bit to waste on 4 hours of play. Arrrggg... grrgrgrlllglrlgggllglggllll

/gasps for breath

/tries to swim out of the WoW sinkhole.....

and fails!

What will our drugee do to avoid his addiction?!

Tune in tomorrow folks!

You're not a druggie. You're not an addict. You just haven't found something else to do.

I wish the meals I've forked out more then $75 for lasted 4 hours.

Just purchased a nitro RC truggy, I hope I don't total it in under 4 hours.

and $75 bucks is a bit to waste on 4 hours of play.

STILL cheaper than most hobbies.

Way cheaper than alot of things. 75 bucks is cheaper than 1 nice dinner with the wife. And we go out at least twice a week.

If your accounts have been dormant long enough, maybe we could throw your accounts each a scroll of Rez to give you some free play days to decide.

Edit: hmm just went to the site ('http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/scroll/') for it and it looks like the offer is expired or something (not working for me anyway), oh well.
Edit again: It looks like it only applies to accounts that never had the wotlk upgrade, so it's not that useful after all.

I live in Nevada where gambling is always only a few minutes away. I'm not rich at all but have gone through hundreds in a few minutes. Anytime I have the thought that I'm wasting money on WoW I think that if it saves me one trip to a casino a month I'm really saving.

Oh I have tons of things to do: I study Spanish everyday, mess around with Photoshop, work out at the gym, have a yard that needs work, etc... it's just that there are those times where none of those options seem appealing. Oh and the whole drug routine thing was a joke. I think I will wait until the next content push and see if I am still interested in playing.... if I can wait that long, lol.

Just purchased a nitro RC truggy, I hope I don't total it in under 4 hours.

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on R/C related toys. Planes - Helicopters (.60 size) - cars - trucks - boats - everything! Playing WoW x5 is insanely cheap by comparison.

I used to blow $200 in a weekend at the race track.... /ughHeh. I have a sailplane and a Piper Cub in my closet. It's too bad I haven't touched them in five years. :( The piper was an electric I converted into a gas. Only with the way I rigged the servos they caught and jammed and the plane flew straight into a fence post. The plane's still fine. The firewall got knocked out. I just haven't taken time to work on it. Oh, and during the move here the vertical stabilizer on my sailplane got busted. Again - I haven't touched it in years.

And now I want to get a DSLR camera. But then I can't really justify it.

Ya the glass always retains value, since making them is always expensive and you can use an old lens on a new camera just fine.

I almost bought a new Nikon and some lenses.... then I thought about it. I was like, "What if I get bored of this in a few weeks, is that worth a few thousand?" Guess not!

edit: Back on topic, the real question is: Leave my 2 groups of 80s with epic flyers and gear behind and start anew on an alliance server or just go back to the shaman/DKs.... hmm.

If you like levelling or you never did the other side it may be a good change of air; otherwise I think AV, WG, etc... are kind of fun. Or if you haven't already, you could try leveling all professions above 400, that should keep you busy :-)

Both sets of my horde guys are 450+ in two professions 8|

Took a lot of gold and a lot of time to do that, lol.
