With threads about Blizzard asking for you CD Key to resolve problems and CD Keys being required for merging accounts onto a single Battle.net account ... is there a way to retrieve your Keys?
I have downloaded and upgraded most of my accounts online and never bothered to copy the Keys they supplied. I have not called Blizzard yet. Has anyone tried this of have any ideas?

I have most of my CD keys, but 2 of my accounts I don't have access to them. When I merged them all to battle.net accounts I wasn't asked for CD keys, I was just asked for the login info.

I just did it a few minutes ago and my cd keys were not required. You just need your account name and password.
Something I found out and didn't know is after merging with a battlenet acct you can't transfer any characters for 30 days.

Of course, no one reads dialogs, they just click OK.

in relation to cd keys, what if you upgraded a trial account online to vanilla wow, then to tbc, then to wotlk? of course, there's no cd key involved in this and i believe it would be in the e-mail sent to you. confirm pls?
Check your email records. If you downloaded a When your account was upgraded to a full account (or to a new expansion) you should have received an email like the one below. It has the key included. Hopefully, you saved the email :)

I replied in the original thread but let me repeat here that I wasn't asked my CD keys when I merged 5 of my accounts into battle.net (this is US accounts which were already protected by authenticator - if that makes a difference)

I was not asked for my CD keys either and I have accounts that were store bought (keys in the box on the cd sleeve) as well as trial accounts being upgraded online (key in the email/purchase receipt). Maybe it asks for them on the Euro version of battle.net?

I merged 7 wow accounts into my battle.net account a couple months ago and just had to enter my usernames and passwords (no cd-keys).

I see the difference now.
I tried to add WoW using the "add game" button on battle.net. That asks for keys.
If you hit the merge button, it just asks for usernames and passwords.
I'm not ready to do this yet - not by a long shot - but I'm relieved to know that I do not in fact need the CD keys!
