There is no way to get a really good SS of them all, hell I think one is UNDER the picnic table. It's kinda cool, ALL your toons get one in the mail. It may expire as the coloring is supposed to, so whenever you do it, make sure to check ALL your toons you want the pet on.

How do you tell the mtn dew site that you are a wow player?

How do you tell the mtn dew site that you are a wow player?Once you log in, there is a link on the bottom right that says something like "get the battle bot pet" and it takes you to battle.net to login. Once you do that it tells you that you need to log all the way out and back in and you should have the pet in the mail.

battle.net account AND must be in the US/EU
MMO-C is reporting EU can get it as well.
Has anyone found any reason not to add the accounts to battle.net?
I've put it off because I don't want to be hassled but I might go for it if there is a nifty in game pet involved.

it seems like they have "fixed" it with the EU accounts (cause it was only for US players)
i tryed to get one at 6:30 AM (german time) after the server restart and it doesnt worket :/ no ingame mail for me but on the battle.net site was written "gratulation! [...]".
on a german wow communitysite i've read that some players get the pet (there were news comments until 3 AM with "yeah! got one!!")
damn :(

Also if you get your password stolen they get access to all your accounts not just one. Lastly, once you switch to battle.net account you cant go back.
I haven't seen a good enough reason for me to do it yet and a pet isn't going to change my mind.

I haven't seen a good enough reason for me to do it yet and a pet isn't going to change my mind.If they steal your password to one account, they likely already keylogged your system so they have them all. Buy a $6 authenticator and you'll never lose an account, period.
There have been hundreds of hours where accounts of all types haven't been able to log in - since converting to a battle.net account I've not had a single login issue, I'm sure that won't be true forever, but it's a moot point.
No reason to switch back.
Given time it won't be an option, if you want to log into WoW you are going to need to register as battle.net.

Sigh. Signed up, but "must be a resident of the US" to login to the site.
When will Blizz realize that people outside the US play the game on US servers too? Hello? There's a country right north of you...

There is? You mean that third world country called Canada? I did not know we had been acknowledging it as a real country yet. Congratz!!!!

Nope, just an arbitrary rule by Mountain Dew/Blizz that you must reside in the US of A to participate. Kinda like how when blizzard authenticators first came out they were only available in the USA. Not only available to US accounts, but only available to residents of the USA. Eventually they realized they have neighbouring countries that play on the US servers too :P

How do you get around logging in with an email address? I have the same email address for all accounts, I went to merge them but saw I had to login with my email and I balked. any ideas for this?

Again, a lot of what I've read said it's Canadian laws that are preventing this. Maybe it has to do with Mt. Dew not doing the promotion up there. And don't take someone joking around too personal.

I believe you can change this when you create the battle.net account. Because out of the 7 accounts i had, there were 4 email address associated with them. Now after the merge, it's just 1.

In game advertising FTW. Knew this would happen sooner or later. I remember joking about this in the Pre-BC days, me and a guildy were talking about how Ragnaros will eventually say: "By fire be purged......and snap into a slim jim!!"

So much for EU. They've disabled EU accounts getting mailed the pets, and anyone who did get one mailed is having them removed tonight during rolling restarts.

Let it be known that you can get the bot on any character regardless of faction.
It's almost a shame that my other accounts are disabled. But I never have the pets out. And there's no special feat of strength achievement.

If you have multiple accounts merged with your battle net account, do you get the pet on all of them?

ROFLMAO
You're right about this, but atleast they don't have the Mountain-Dew logo or even name in/one them. As long as they steer clear of making mistakes like that, I don't mind it so much if they do it this way. Reward the player somehow, but don't turn us into walking billboards.
I just converted my accounts over to Battle.net and merged all 4 of them into the single account. I have all 4 in my name and all assigned to the same email address, so it works if you do too, anyone. Just make sure you hit the right links and buttons when accepting and all will be good. I now use one email address as the login name for all accounts and one single pass. when prompted, i then use my authenticator key, well worth the $6, so don't be cheap and buy one. I enter one key across all 4 accounts at once at the same time using Keyclone and the numberpad. The login screen changes a bit to give you a drop down menu under the login name if you have more than one account merged into your Battle.net account, so just select the account you want to log into on each screen. Battle.net also asks for your authenticator key once you try logging into your account if you have one registered to it, so there is no need to worry about your account being highjacked thru here if you have one of these. I just tried to log into the same account twice using the same authenticator code and had no success on the second login. Each key can only be used once then it is blocked from being used again. However, if you have more than one account you're tryin to log into like we all here do, you can use one single key on all accounts, but you have to use that key within a givin timeframe before it's locked out from being used again. I even tried to log into a different account with it, and kept telling me the pass was wrong. Login and passwords were right, but the key was already blocked and that kept me from getting in.
How this authenticator works I figure, is once you assign it to which ever account you want to use it for, it takes the serial number off the back of it and tells the account which model you have. The account then grabs a list of codes programed for that model and assigns that list to the account. Once you use the key, it blocks it from the list and keeps from being used again. As to how many numbers are on this list, I have no clue. Nor do I know what'll happen once all are used.
Edit:
Just tried to log into my Battle.net account after trying this out seeing if you could use the same key multiple times. WoW didn't tell me this when I kept getting the typical "failed to log in" message, but apparently it locked my damn authenticator as well. With it now being after hours for me to call up Billing Support to get it unlocked, I now have to wait till tomorrow to do so. If this ever happens to you, make sure you have a serial key code handy, as I suspect they will ask me for one to verify I actually own the accounts. Don't have them right now, or else I'd try calling.
