First and foremost I wanted to say thank you so much for all the information on this site. All of the posts and "Especially" The Wiki has provided me with a perfect guide and source of information to help my Duo get to 60. Long time lurker here and finally just got my second account and hit 60. Ill post a pic when I have a free moment.

Tonight I am finishing up my Warlocks mount quests and will have my beautiful Dreadsteeds  YaY.

Oh yeah, they are both Warlocks... oops :whistling:

good luck with the lock mount quest line; it's fun but lengthy - and finding other people to do the instances part can be a challenge (unless you 5 box obviously) - specially now that you can just buy the mount at the trainer at 61 instead of doing the chains - but the chains are fun if you're up for it and have friends to help

You do know that you get the lock mounts with the trainer at 62 right? :P

I guess you do it for the fun though and its a awsome quest line and the bosses is quite cool!

I wish they never did this. They make people go to old world cities to use the AH, they should make Paladins and Locks do the quest lines. My lock still has the mats for the final stage of the lock quest. I've done that encounter more than I've done anything else in game. It makes me sad to see all the new locks missing out. Same for the paladins. I've done both quest lines, and the lock was my favorite.

If you ask really nicely, you might get a lock that still has his stuff, so it saves you 100's of gold. But he has to have a medium about of shards (probably 12-18) since he has to the one to use the items. Also, you can enslave one of the felguard elites in there and wtfpwn the imps with them, bonus, you don't have to fight the felguards and you get an elite to fight for you (unless you have felguards yourself). And, you don't have to have help until you get to the actual place to use the items, so you can clear up to there with a friend and then summon the helper person in. That way the super high person doesn't have to babysit you while you clear up to and take down the shield.

Congrats on your locks, I am letting mine build up some rest at 73 and LOVE them SOOO much. I am sad everyone told me not to do them back when I got started. Good luck.

Thank you for all the info. Personally I like the mount quest... Back in Vanilla day's my wife had a warlock and I remember helping her out with that quest. I agree regarding them offering the mount at 61... wish they never did but if you stop and think if you have just 1 warlock its probably worth it since you are only buying the epic riding skill for 1 toon and the mount for 20g from the trainer. But with multiple toons rather than buy the epic riding skill for all of them its cheaper to pay approx 200g per toon do the quest (make some money and xp) and get my lvl 80 lock buddy to his items for me :)
