So I've been Dual Boxing a Warrior / Priest. I've got them to 55 now and have a Orc Shammy I've gifted to the same level. I want to use the Shammy in end game content and get it there as quickly as possible. He's on the same account as the Priest, so if I do box, it will probably mean respec to resto and dual box with the Warrior.
Option A - Dual Box Warrior / Shaman from 60-80
Option B - Solo Shammy to 60-80

If you need it really fast it's probably just easier to spec enhance and level the shammy from 60-80 solo. If you can spare a few extra days its probably best to duo the warrior and shammy (resto or elemental) together. That way later when you go back to level the priest having that 80 warrior along just makes things so much nicer.

There will be an argument, but I hold that post-RaF boxing is always slower than levelling a single character.
The big win is that you end up with multiple 80s so the "time per character" is far, far lower than doing them individually.
So...
I want to use the Shammy in end game content and get it there as quickly as possible.
If this is your focussed goal, and you don't care that the total time investment to level both characters will be higher, option B is the way to go.
It will give you a level 80 shammy quicker than doing both characters together.

Obviously group bonus gets you more total exp per kill.

As I recall, you don't get group bonus for just two characters and even with it, the net effect is still massively lower than solo killing.
edit:
Confirmed (http://www.wowwiki.com/Formulas:Mob_XP#Solo_Experience_Modifiers), assuming the WowWiki post is correct.
Modifiers:
1 person group = 1.0
2 person group = 1.0
3 person group = 1.166
4 person group = 1.3
5 person group = 1.4

Actually, when grouped with two toons, even with group bonus you get about half the xp per kill you would get solo. I've leveled alot of toons solo and duo and have observed this.
So to answer the OP's question, if you want the highest speed level the shammy solo as enhancement. If you want *TWO* level 80's as fast as possible dual-box them. It'll take about 33% longer than soloing but in the end you'll have two 80's in alot less time than it would take you to level each one solo, separately.

I think WoW is 5x the fun through level 70.
I would do hellfire/zang/nagrand quests to get to 68
I would also do dungens whenever I could.
some of the very first quests in WoLK at either end are pretty good and close to 5x the fun.
but at some point you will hit an XP wall in WoLK as in some collection quest from hell. ( they are all over the place )
here you might want to boost one or more characters by joining a team setting focus to the boost-e and remove him from the team. as long as he tags first he should get all of the points for a kill.
the elite worms in northern dragonblight are worth quite a bit if your team can kill them, they are 74 I think.
i just powered through 68-70 in about 2 weeks on my solo pally playing roughly about 4/6 hours a day. im not really a strong leveler either so your time may be better, but i suspect that if i had tried to do my shammy/pally team same time it would have been much slower. also i used the tour guide addon until it stopped at 71. it was awesome
Obviously group bonus gets you more total exp per kill. You only get the group bonus with 4 or more character in party and he is only dual boxing.
You will always be able to level one toon faster solo then you will with multiple toons. HOWEVER, I would go fury, or arms if you prefer, on the warrior and enhancement on the shaman and just quest up to 80 and not worry about instances. Normal questing you shouldn't even need a healer at all except maybe for group quests in the which I would just have some backup healing gear on the shaman, he shouldn't need to actually spec into resto to heal the warrior through it.
While you might be able to get your shaman to max level faster than dual boxing the two, it's only going to be alittle faster, and it's alot more efficent in the end to level up multiple at the same time.

duo and quest, it will go very fast, the collection quests will be bearable (not like at 5x...) and you'll have lower downtime and mobs will drop quickly - yes you'll get 1/2 the kill xp but the kill quests will go 2x faster, and you can do most of the group quests too - also you will get ganked less... all in all I think you'd get 2 level 80 in 1.2x the time or so to get 1.
