We've run into several "gimmick" teams since we started and although I doubt they do well against much anything else, the just destroy us by stacking class abilities. here are some things we ran into:

1. 5x frost mages
All pop mirror image and water elemental and surround us. Grounding totems are gone instantly, whole team is frozen, counterspelled, etc. Pally can't heal. We went up against them 4 or 5 times, best we got was 2 of them down. If I manage to thunderstorm their mirrors and target one at a time, they ice block. with that kind of firepower we just don't have any time.... Any ideas?

2. 4x destro warlock, 1x priest
I'm not sure what happened to diminishing returns and immunity, but apparently it doesnt'a pply to multiboxers. At least 30 fears, god knows how many shadowfuries, and 4x warlocks that chain proc netherprotection and never die. Priest just LoS the whole time and if I get a shot on him i get stunned or feared before I can cast... very embarassing loss

3. 3x fan of knives rogues + anything else
Match is over in about 5 seconds. gg

We don't run into these teams too often, but it'd be nice to be able to own them like the cleave teams do. Any ideas? We got nothing

Frost mages needs to have you in a frost nova to shatter you, unless they specced into deep frost or whatever its called but im not aware that pvp mages do that. Aka you can counter alot of the damage with Hand of Freedom wich prevents ice lance from critting, well it used to be this way when i played my mage but its been a while. Paladin should use Hand of Sacrifice if they switch and back to hand of freedom on the next burst. The only way to prevent a counter spell is to bubble since you cant fake cast 5 counterspells without insane luck. Take a look on armoury and see if someone of them use pve gear and focus them if they do! Play agressive and dont try to wait them out since this will give them time to plan and less chance of doing mistakes, bring your totem farm with you when you move. Your paladin got aura mastery aswell wich makes you all immune to silence and counter spells for 10 seconds, a well timed divine sacrifice will help alot aswell. Its not a easy fight at all and your paladin have to use every tool he have to migate the damage, when they are out play defensive and heal ALOT, there is no way your paladin can heal this fight alone! Sounds easy on paper and tbh i have no idea if it would work.

4 destro locks? If hes multiboxing all spells will come instant and ususaly they start with immolate, save your grounding for the time he trows immolate, without immolate on the target you can compare it with a lava burst without flameshock. You can also save grounding totems untill after immolate so your paladin can dispell them wich is hard since there are 4! :P Tbh im clueless how to kill even one destro lock but we ususaly spam purge off his buffs if he gets blood lust to avoid that atleast then we try to drop a fear on him and a hex after that. Hopefully hes not UD but killing them with healers up is a lost cause.

Never faced theese FaK teams so i cant help you out there! :(

I'm actually leveling 5 mages now to 80 just for the whole "4 mirror images + water elementals and focus fire" idea.. Glad to hear it's a pain in the ass :-)

The idea with 5 mages is to spread out thought, a cleave team will do seriouse damage if you stack 5 mages on top of each other.

Mirror images must be annoying for the mage since they dont go for the mages target but the one who is highest on treath, aka if you dont damage them they will always go for the healer.

None of these were multiboxing teams - they were all separate players. I don't think they would've worked multiboxed at all.

In that case you wont win vs 4 destro locks and a disc priest! :) Even with all my shamans sitting at 2.1k spelldamage 5% hit and 90 spellpenetration a LvB,CL,Flame Shock ususaly drop a warlock to 20%. It might work if your healer chain dispells his nether protections but 5 is simply to much damage im afraid.

Priests seems to be the best healer to counter multiboxers along with shamans.

Glad to hear it's a pain in the ass :-)Being played by 5 separate players though, keep in mind. They were spread out in a star, very coordinated, popped ice block one at a time, Were able to switch targets independently, etc. I don't think it's viable in arena multiboxed, but could be fun in WG or battlegrounds. But even then you're probably just going to get cleaved to death and your mirrors asplode with 1 AOE.
