Grouping Question

Hiya all,
This will be a good(maybe) story so grab a drink and pull up a chair!

Well, I did not play WoW for very long but recently decided to come back. I was tri-boxing with some RAF accounts about a year ago and built up quite a hefty stock of level 60's. Just about 3 of every class. Fairly easy to do with all the wonderfull advice on this website. After RAF expired I grabbed up three character I thought I would enjoy the most (DK, Priest, Hunter) and went off for my adventure to level 70. I enjoyed it, however the wife convinced me to leave WoW to retry Vanguard(which while is a great game, is slowly being destroyed by Sony). I left about 5 month ago. Last week I said to myself "I'm bored... lets go play WoW!"

I heard about the Battle.net account thing and pleased that account management would be much easier. I go to merge all my accounts and BAM!! two of my accounts were banned. After much talking with Blizzard support (slow... but effective bunch) I found to my dread that two of my accounts were hacked. No idea how this happened as I am very careful, have good Anti-virus, and all that jazz, but it did. So I get the accounts back and shocker, all nekid. No biggy though.

Another shocker.... my 69 DK for my tri-box team is now 80. He musta been used to farm stuff for whoever stole him. While most people would be like YAY!! a free level 80, I am kinda bummed. He was one leg of my tri-pod.

Now that the fun story is over, here is my question I could have just asked at the start :D

If I decide to group with my other two 69's with my 80 will the xp be terribly reduced? If so, when would I be able to bring the 80 back into the fold? Newbish questions I know, but I simply dont know them.

The xp won't be that much lower and it will even out because you can kill faster. You may have to use one of the other characters as you main because I find it really annoying getting the right quests to do if the main has already completed them.

You can also spend a few hours leveling one of your 60s up high enough to quest with your group so when you get to 80 you will have an extra option of what to use. Any class would work well with your lvl 69s.

Actually, whoever stole the account didnt do a single quest (at least that I can tell). They probably just botted to 80. I did petition a GM to move him back to his previous level though. I enjoy the trip more than the destination.

i second the above (petition for the DK to be brought back to its original level).

but on the other hand...you can kill stuff quicker (point made by smoooth)! meaning you can down quests for the other two toons faster (if u find that the dk has already done the quests. if not, better)! and you can probly solo the earlier wotlk instances! and you can practice on your 'tri-boxing' without worrying too much about a dying tank (dk is a tank i presume?).
