Personal guild bank - item and gold storageYep, same here. I keep 100 gold on each character and use the guild bank for repairs. The guild bank helps to know exactly how much gold you have so you know what you need for a big purchase like 5x epic flying.

I actually have a banker toon with a personal guild bank that i send all my items too for storage or sale but since my toons are in an actual guild i store all my money on my main. about once every couple of weeks i transfer all but 200g from all my alts to my main. seems to work out pretty well.

i keep my money with the tank atm. i am (was...guild disbanded) in a real guild so none of the guild bank options would work.

i do have various other toons for storing different stuff (i segregate all items according to profession and type - cloth/tailoring stuff and patterns, ore/bars/mining stuff and patterns, blah blah blah etc etc. ocd anyone?) and i have an AH toon to top it all off.

each storage toon belongs to their own guild because i only buy the first guild bank tab. kinda cheaper that way and i have the character space for all the required bank alts. i won't be needing the bank alts' slots any time soon. also, when the bank alts' guild bank tabs and bags and normal bank slots are close to full, i turn them into gear and whatnot to be sold by the AH toon or just send them out to be sold as is.

sometimes, i store my gold at Susan's ;) j/k!! No Susan, u can't have my babies!
