Question with RAF 4 accounts

So I was wondering how I'm going to setup my accounts since I'm just now starting out.



I'm going to make 3 new WoW accounts and upgrade them. I will then RaF between 4 accounts.



When creating all 4 accounts, should I put them all under the same name? Because I wasn't sure if you could link them all up together and play all different accounts under one giant main account without getting DC'ed

It's not a problem if you create many accounts with the same name. I have actually 6 accounts on the same name. Two created at the beginning of the game (Buffbot experience with DAOC), one created later, and now I created 3 RAF accounts.

Blizzard said no problem to create a RAF account for the same player and, for the moment, it's true.

Ok, so when I login, with my account, it gives me all my account names in WoW, and I can sign into them individually without logging myself out?



AND, I can recruit my accoutns under the same names?

you have to open 4 different wow windows. and yes having the same name is vital. you can indeed recruit yourself. blizzard doesnt care they just want the coin :)

you can open the same install 4 times or you can install it 4 times to seperate folders and even across multiple drives and open each one individually via keyclone or what have you. although if you go with the separate installs route you may want to research symlinking.

the benefits of multiple installs are that your settings and macros will be saved for each individual install whereas if you boot all 4 from the same one all the settings are shared across the board. keyclone can force things like the account name and resolution but if you dont have it im not sure about the other programs capabilities.

I guess my main question is, can I have all 4 accounts linked under one bnet account, so when I sign into say blahblah@hotmail.com ('mailto:blahblah@hotmail.com') from the wow login screen, and it brings up all my accounts "blah1,blah2,blah3,blah4" and if I click on each individual account, will this work as well? or would you reccomend not linking them to the same bnet account?



Also, is it actually aloud to use keyclone while multiboxing. I asked the support, and they said it's not unless you are physically playing all 4 of them without using any 3rd party program.

whod you ask exactly and can you quote it at all because as far as we've heard from blizz keyclone is perfectly legal. you may have been talking to a gm or something who just doesnt like multiboxers. if you ask 10 gms the same question you most likely will get 10 different answers.

also yes you can merge all of your accounts into one bnet account but you will still have to open wow 4 times. i dont know much about it though because when they were having the problems with it i decided to wait until all was clear before i did it, and now im just putting it off :)
