Hey everyone, basically what I am looking for is some advice on which way to go. I am looking for a pure PVP team, that is not shamans lol... I am running 5 dk's tanks at the moment and just hit 71 with them. I am taking them to 80, mainly to have my main tank be 80 and geared to help level any other possible char. I have every class sitting in the 60's waiting to be moved around. I was thinking that 5 dk's would be hard in PVP, and I cant justify putting uber amount of time and money into them if they would not do well. I was thinking about running a DK-3 Locks-priest\healing? or DK and 4 locks, but is healing really needed for PVP.. maybe arena, but still I think max range damage with some crowd control is needed?
I was thinking locks with round robin on howl of terror\death coil\fear would keep people at bay. Last what specs would you choose with going with such teams? Frost with Hungering cold, and HB? I do like the Blood tree tho atm , my team of 5 can pretty much full heal with one button every 30 sec , 14k health. Locks being Affliction or demo?

Any advice would be cool

Well for pvp 5 rogues wont be any easier than 5 dk's, I would say get to 79 than bg for a while with them and try them out, don't test them at 80 because all the deadly geared or better players will make you never wanna pvp again, I always stop 1 level before max and grind honor, usually once I have enough honor to buy 3 or more pieces of epics ill let myself hit 80. Back in BC i bought my entire S1 set including weapons before i hit 70 lol.

If your planning to do bgs i would say that any class is fine, however for arena i have a hard time seeing anything else than shamans. Maybe 4 dks and a resto shaman could do the job but 5 dps in 5v5 needs to be REALY well played since most teams have 3 dps and 2 healers.

Maybe 4 ud destro locks but your pretty weak if you get hit by the nerf bat, however you got 2 counters to fear and nether protection makes you counter casters pretty easy.

However once you face cleave teams with warrior,dk,ret your gonna drop like stone im afraid.

Fear is not a good protection mechanism.
Sure its very powerful against those unprepared to deal with it.
But its on diminishing returns, and there are so many counters to it.

At the same time, as a team of players you need some kind of mechanic to deal with fear.
Shammies can drop Tremor totems to help mitigate this.
If you have a priest in your team, you can Fear Ward the priest and if you're quick Mass Dispel Magic your team, when fear bombed.

Anything you want to play can work in battlegrounds, if you plan it out and can coordinate it well.
5x Death Knights can be quite powerful. Blood will help top them off to a large degree.
A dedicated healer can make the team that much harder to deal with.

Arena is a totally different ball park.
Depends how highly rated you wish to go.
The more competitive play demands specific compositions.
Lots of info in the wiki and on these forums.
