Ive been trying to get multiboxing set up over the past few days while having school and like no time it seems. Ive probably been trying to figure everything out for a total of 6 hours, and i havnt even got everything working yet.
I am trying to dual box 2 rogues.
I need a macro that does the interact thing that you can bind a button to, and then an asist macro which i allready have, but i need it on 1 button.
I have the interact button set to q. Is there any way I could then bind q to hitting an actionbar space while keeping it as keybound to interact? It seems like there would be a way to do this in console...
If anyone knows how to bind 1 key to 2 things, please tell me how!
thank you!

Interact with target has to be on it's own keybind. So you at least have to click twice for melee.

Not really, somethings you can but not interact since it's protected. There's no way to macro it.

sometimes it just takes 2 keys... just bind interact to 'shift-q' or something then have you assist/dps spam macro to regular 'q'. but its against the rules to have 1 key 'press' 2 keys in game.

1 button cant do 2 events (key presses).

what do mean? we dont want you to give up we were just telling you the way it is. if you think we dont get it then just be clearer. dual-boxing is rather complicated and often requires very many different keybinds and macros. i suggest with a all melee setup to peruse this thread ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=6559'). he gives good diagrams on positioning and whatnot. might help but maybe not who knows.

it may seem like we're picking on you but we're not. at least i can say that i'm trying to help you. this is at least your third thread and im stickin it out with ya. so dont get offended. theres no way to interact and hit a macro with 1 keypress unless you're using a program to break the ToS. but there is a way to manuever you slave into range and just spam one button without even using interact. its actually how it was done until just recently. interact is rather new.

anyways goodluck figuring it all out. its a rewarding journey and feel free to continue asking questions.

"Interact with Target" has to be on it's own key. For me, I use "F3" to /assist, and "F4" to "Interact with target". Like others have said, you can't make 2 actions happen on one keypress.
