I was hoping to get a multibox set up with 2 account for now.
I have two accounts that are linked via RAF, which actually is irrelevant to what i need help with.
For this particular question i will just use rogues because that will be what i level first.
**sorry btw if i come off as an idiot. I am extremely new at this and i respect anyone who even tries to help.
I got keyclone v1.8 and got it to work so that when i hit keyboard keys with one rogue, the other does the same. (moves, attacks, sinister strikes, jumps, types, etc.)
I dont think it was exact because sometimes when i move, both characters wont be exactly mimicing, but i could be wrong.
1. How do I get the characters to do exactly what the other does like ive seen with shamans, etc. in vids.?
2. If they get out-of-line, or not exact, how do i fix them?
3. It is possible to make it so instead of just keyboard mimics, your mouse moves/clicks will also mimic right? How would i do this?

thank you all. i appreciate any help and progress. :)

You have to black list your movement keys for your second toon. This way your second toon stays in line all the time.

edit: and also, will i be able to mimic my mouse as well as my keyboard? That is my main question. (I should have specified). But can I do this with Keyclone?

In Keyclone you can add movement keys to the "do not pass" list.

Or, you can just unbind all movement keys from your Alts.oo. Now i think i get what the other guy was saying also. in stead of when my rogue moves, the other ones does. The other one is just supposed to follow instead of move?
-If this is true, I am leveling to rogues(melee). When following, the follower is always behind the other char, so it may not be in melee range when i decide I want to attack.
--Any further suggestions/information?
---Also anything about the mouse?

If this is your first time to box, I personally don't think you're going to like it with 2 melee classes. It takes a lot of practice getting range issues right for one thing. Just to learn it, I would suggest 2 mages, or shaman or something like that. That way you can get a feeling for boxing without getting frustrated.

On the movement issue, go into Keyclone's settings menu, and there's a "Do-Not-Pass" tab. Just add WASD to that window, and it won't get sent to the other window. Next, bind a key to follow for your second character (Just make a macro that says "/follow Toon1sName" and hit it whenever you get out of combat (or any time follow breaks).

I think i might try first with hunters or casting class.
2. What if i rebound the "w" button in my second wow client to /following my toon instead of walking forward. Would that maybe be possible?

For basic melee, enable click-to-move in the wow client settings on both. Then bind a key in wow keybindings for interact-with-target. Then when you find a target on the main, do an /assist on the follower and hit the interact with target button and he will run up and start melee.

-Is there a way to mimics mouse moves and clicks? Or does it just look like it when ppl multi-box, but they are just using bindings?
edit--- Is there a way (even if u cannot do mouse clicks) to make it do when you just scroll down on one WoW window, itll recognise you rolling your scroll wheel down in the other.

Hello, and welcome to dual-boxing.com. :) JUst so you know, we have a Wiki that covers just about everything except the more esoteric aspects of multiboxing.

To answer your questions on basic boxing setups, go here: http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_started#Basic_In-Game_Tutorial

Look at the In Game Tutorial section. There's a video for basic setup (from Vyndree) that uses keyclone and mine, which uses octopus. Take your pick. ;)

Happy boxing.
