I run my team on two machines. When I go to log the group in, the three accounts on one computer log in just fine but the other computer's two accounts just stop progress at "Authenticating".
I've shut down WoW and restarted. I've tried accounts from the first computer. I've rebooted the machine completely.
None of the above works. Ideas?
*EDIT*
Stranger still, I tried again after posting my plea. Now the three on the main computer are stuck at authenticating but the two on the other computer are able to log in!

*sigh* I'll have to go back to using my computer for porn.

I've had this happen a couple times, and usually when it does it's because I've mistyped the password or authenticator key a couple times. It's like it is a hidden timeout of bad logins, I'm not 100% as I've not tried to replicate this, but this was my consensus when its happened to me a few times.

a fair guess, I suppose, but my script logs all of my accounts in at once. If it were wrong on one it would be wrong on all. I've tried several manual accounts also. Moreover, it doesn't matter which accounts I use on either computer. One is stuck and the other isn't.

If the happens to me for what seems like a "long time" I just hit Cancel and it goes to server selection. All good from there.

About a year ago I was playing on a server named Dethecus. This same thing happened to me for about a week and a half. No one had any explanation, Blizzard blamed my isp, my isp blamed blizzard. It was very frustrating. After research even though I couldnt get this confirmed because ISP's will lie their asses off and blame everyone and everything but themselves, I beleive my ISP was using port blocking and something about that servers location was getting stopped. Anyway since no one could give me any kind of help I moved off that server. It has never happened since.

I am having this issue sometimes as well on my Vista machine. What usually does the job for me
Start->run-> ipconfig /flushdns
Sometimes one of my accounts will get stuck on Authenticating as well. I am on one pc and I don't use a router. It goes away after a minute or two, but it is annoying.

I just started having this problem on one PC this week. Nothing has changed AT ALL on my systems. Very curious indeed. If I see it again, I'll try flushing DNS.

I had the same problem last night one PC worked, the other would not authenticate and I tried the same account on both PC.
I rebooted the non-authenticator and it worked after that.

I gave up on this that night but came back to find everything working normally the next morning. If/When it starts again I'll give that flushdns a try. Thanks for the replies.

I'm pretty sure that Blizz has been having issues with the login servers. I've got a friend who wasn't able to login for 2 days, so someone suggested he merge his wow account with his battle.net account. He did and was able to immediatley login.

He did and was able to immediatley login.I've had this happen since Bliizzard posted about login servers going down a few days ago.
Funny thing was that the Battle.net accounts could log in no problem, but the non-B.net account was stuck for 20 minutes. Since then, I've never had problems with my Battle.net accounts but occasionally have a slow login on the regular account.
FYI - I have more than 8 accounts which is why I have to use a regular login. I haven't yet decided if I want to merge the remaining accounts.

As a follow-up, I haven't seen this again since the day after I made the post above. Guess they did something to fix it. :P

Alrighty, this just got more strange.
Even though I was playing just fine earlier this afternoon (evening for you guys), I'm having login issues again. More specifically, the Daggerspine US (PVP) server where I play only shows for some of my accounts but not for others! At first two accounts on the main machine logged into Daggerspine character selection but the third went right to realm selection where Daggerspine was not shown. The second computer logged both accounts to Daggerspine character selection.
When I closed my clients down and restarted, Daggerspine was denied to all of the accounts on the main comptuer but both accounts on the 2nd machine see it just fine.
I've tried to run ipconfig /fushdns but it gives "This operation requires elevation."
Sheesh.
