Hello everyone.
I'm new to Dual Boxing and currently running a Warrior / Priest combo. I picked this mainly for endgame but also because I thought they'd synergize well; and it has for the most part.
I typically run the Warrior as my main and keep the Priest on follow, having him heal as needed. Its effective but slow, and I'm wondering if having a healbot is counterproductive in dualboxing as it seems people go for offense more when dual boxing.
I'm going to stay with the combo, but should I focus more on the Priests offensive capabilities when leveling him up?
id go shadow and just dps and heal if needed. theres nothing youll encounter in the game world that you wont be able to heal as shadow that is necessary to complete anyways. thats just my opinion though :)

There's nothing stopping a healer from causing some damage too. Why not throw in some shadow word: pains or smites?

I've added macros for that, since it seems my Warrior doesn't need heals very often.

I got my warrior the 65 emblem Bloodied Arcanite Reaper, put the priest basically on follow and absolutely destroyed my way up to 60. I was killing things so fast with the warrior that a priest DoT wouldn't have made much sense, so I just used smite as needed. I tried not to wand, because when I had some larger groups built up I needed the heal to be on demand, and no have to wait for the GCD.
I still had a few pieces of green level 10-20 ish armor on the warrior when I hit 60 too. The axe is that amazing.

I played them again last night, and it went somewhat better, I didn't even bother with SW:P dots just Smite spam and it worked well. They went up 6 levels last night to 18.
My biggest issue now is I haven't trained or upgraded gear in 10 levels; I activated my trial account but it still won't get mail or trades which is seriously hurting me.

I'm enjoying my prot pally / holy priest duo. The heals from the priest are OP for me right now, so alot of the time my priest is Smiting and Holy Fire'ing the mobs. SW Pain everything too. I love though that I can pull a pack of 8-10 mobs and the priest can keep me up just with Renew and the occasional flash heal. Only real problem is mobs with spell interrupts like Shield Bash...died a couple times cause I couldn't get a heal to cast from the priest and didn't notice til it was too late, and I was panickedly trying to find my LOH button on the pally.
Plus, doing this I've discovered that I actually LIKE healing. I will enjoy playing the priest at 80 solo as a healer. I've always, always been a DPSer primarily ever since the beginning of WOW (I started way back in Dec '04). Last instance I healed was Uldaman on my old, old priest alt way back around mid '05 lol. Unless you count my recent dual-box runs through SM:GY
