I'm boggled by what's going wrong and I can't seem to figure out the problem.
I'm running two machines with Vista, and out of nowhere, suddenly, I have a problem with one of the computers and Keyclone. It first starts with Keyclone loading and two instances of World of Warcraft appearing in the list of running programs, even though only one instance is loaded. This makes all sorts of annoying issues, from the keypresses of the other machine being duplicated multiple times (if I hit 1 to press a spell, it will press that spell on the other machine, then immediately try to press it a second time) to the override command being ignored on the second machine. Also one of the keys I pass is the spacebar to jump, and when I jump on the normal machine, the second machine minimizes WoW entirely.
I haven't done anything to either computer as far as I can remember nor have I changed anything to do with WoW or Keyclone since updating it to 1.9 on the first. Everything worked fine up until a day or two ago when this hit me out of nowhere. I can't figure out what's wrong or how to not add the second instance and this has made everything totally unplayable.
Any ideas?

it sounds like you have a double connection. make sure only one keyclone connects into the other.
also, make sure the auto-add is unchecked. (keyclone/setup/general/auto-add-windows-titled) you should be using keyclone commands to launch your wows, as such, you would not need to auto-add them
let me know if that helps,
Rob

i had the same symptoms and i'm pretty sure the above tip from Rob would work. (keyclone -> setup -> general -> [ ] auto-add windows titled [world of warcraft] [x] exact match)
also, on my setup, i think keyclone (or probably Multiplicity) sometimes "locks" the ctrl key when i move from one pc to another. so when i hit the "override hotkey" (set mine to CTRL+F10) on PC1, the ctrl key is still pressed down when i move to PC2. so for the symptom "one of the keys I pass is the spacebar to jump, and when I jump on the normal machine, the second machine minimizes WoW entirely" i think what it does is press alt+spacebar+n which is the keyboard shortcut for minimising a window. just a thought ^^.

Yeah it's only one connection, the computer that mirrors input connects to the "master."
I don't know what "using keyclone commands to launch WoW" means though; I do have it auto-adding windows, it's been doing that since the very beginning when I first started this a year ago and it's never been a problem before. How do I add the WoW windows to keyclone if it's not doing it automatically?

you can add the windows manually, or you can use keyclone commands (which i recommend).
a keyclone command is basically a way of telling keyclone to run a program and have it grab the top window. to create a command, check out the setup video on the main site:

if you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me a note any time.

just wanted to run this to you (or whoever's interested) step-by-step to get keyclone to add windows without having the option in Keyclone -> Setup -> General -> "auto-add windows titled" enabled/checked.
Keyclone -> Setup -> Command Editor
command can be anything you want to name it. so for 4 accounts, you'll end up having 4 commands. i name mine as wow1, wow2, etc.
program opens up a browser that you must point to wow.exe. this is very useful for when you have different folders for different instances of wow.exe as in when you have multiple or symlinked \World of Warcraft\ directories for different wow characters/instances/accounts/whathaveyou.
keymap opens up a browswer that you must point to the keymap (eg wow1.kcl) of this WoW instance. a keymap can be created through the keymap editor and is basically a hotkey interpreter. you can ignore this if you just want keyclone to send the same keypress to all four WoW windows.
region refers to the name of the area that you setup for this WoW instance in Keyclone -> Setup -> Maximizer. if you set Maximizer to divide your screen into four section (coz you have four accounts going by the earlier example), then you'd put in the name of the top left section in Maximizer in region.
wow: username is the username for this WoW account that you're setting up a command for.
wow: maxfpsbk translates to this WoW window's allowed maximum frames per second when it is in the background.
maxfps on the other hand, is the allowed maximum frames per second when it is in the foreground or when it is the active window.
bring-to-top-hotkey is self-explanatory. useful for when you have all four wow windows stacked on top of each other instead of having your screen divided into four sections. so for this example, we won't have it enabled.
always on top enable to make it on top of other windows. useful for overlapped PiP (picture-in-picture) regions. we won't need it for this example since we don't have any of the four sections overlapping.
lock-in-foreground was designed for other games.
exclude from RoundRobin when you have a round-robin key setup, enabling this would make it so that the nominated round-robin key will always be pressed for this WoW instance.
receive-only enable to get this WoW instance to not send keypresses to other windows whenever it is the active window. it's kinda like having override always on for this window.
when you've filled all of that out, press the "+" (plus) button on the bottom right hand side of this window which is right above the cancel button. doing this will add it onto the "command" column on the left hand side. do this three more times for the other three accounts using the appropriate information where necessary. and hit OK to go back to the main Keyclone window.
to be able to use the "commands" that we've setup, type in "wow1; wow2; wow3; wow4" on the input field at the bottom, then click "connect". the WoW windows should now launch appropriately where you've set them up to be in Maximizer along with their account names already automatically typed in (if you've set it up this way). hope this helps :)

Thanks, I got that working.
It's a bit more cumbersome (and I miss out on the Launcher) and I honestly preferred it automatically adding the windows, but if I can't get it to work correctly anymore I guess it will have to do.
Thanks everyone for your help.
