New dual-boxer here ;)

Hey everyone, I am a bit new to dual-boxing. I know that I have to use Keyclone to sync my keyboard between clients, but other than that I'm oblivious as to how to level 2 characters at the same time. I am planning on using the RaF on myself to get the XP bonus. Do I have to make 2 of the same class? I would appreciate any tips, macros, help, or advice! Thank you :)

I'm still kind of new but I'll help you out as much as I can. You don't have to have 2 of the same class, some people prefer to do that due to class quests and such. My current team is a mage, paladin, priest. this is how my fights going as far as hotkeys and such.

main (paladin) target, press 1 to activate /assist paladin /cast attack on the main target (still bound to paladin auto attack)
hit ~ cause that makes my priest strafe left, mage goes right, paladin keeps going forward to target
press 2 for paladin judgement, mage frostbolt
3 for priest 'shoot' (has to attack so it will autofollow after the combat is over)
4 to keep mage firing off frostbolts.
fight over jamba addon makes priest and mage follow paladin again till next fight.

suggested addons
- smart buff (just so you can get a big text box saying something on the slave is needed) and makes buffing so much easier
- bartender (mainly for the ability to adjust keybinds really easy)
- Mappy (cause it makes the buttons on the minimap all pretty lol, and has a function with gatherer addon very handy with slaves that have herbalism, mining)
- Gatherer (records node information for location of nodes for mining, and herbalism) with mappy will make the minimap center, grow in size, become invisible and make all nodes that appear on the minimap flash to grab your attention)
- Omen (I use this cause sometimes I don't pay attention to the mage that often and he's pulled aggro off the paladin)
- Combuctor (one of the best bag addon's I've seen in awhile) can pick to show loot in bag by catagory and even by rarity)
- Jamba (best multiboxer addon so many functions)


i also use Autobar mainly just to have set hot keys for water and food no matter what they have for those items.

Added: I also suggest looking at the macro addon section as well as the software part of multiboxing to get a better idea. I sometimes dual on the pc with my mage on the laptop, or just have all 3 on my pc.
