View Full Version : Stardock Multiplicity Pro caveat
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on Multiplicity after dropping $50 on the "Pro" version. I'd used the Trial for about a week and it worked wonderfully across 2 PCs running Win 7 RC 64-bit. I was pleased enough that I decided to buy the Pro version so I would have the ability to add control of my laptop or HTPC in the future. What a mistake! After paying and downloading the Pro version, I can no longer use the software to multibox WoW, with the exception of either using the Tab key (or sometimes the Windows key) to switch between the 2 boxing PCs. The cursor would transfer seamlessly in the Trial version, but not full version 8| . I seen other posts in Stardock's forums of others having issues with it in Win 7 and Vista with no resolution, so I wanted to give a heads up. I'll follow up on this post should there be a way to resolve it.

you should just try out 'input director' its free and its works very well to have mouse and keyboard control for 2 computers like a KVM switch, that and adding keyclone = good times multiboxing on 2 computers. and just to let you know I'm running windows 7 on both computers.
I second the vote for Input director. I actually bought multiplicity and ran into problems with a left handed mouse button setup.
Input director is free and seems to do the job better than multiplicity or synergy.
Thanks a bunch to both of you for the suggestion! Input Director works awesome for me, and Im back to boxing. I wish I'd found a post mentioning it before I bought Multiplicity.... /shrug. Back to boxing
