You really need to understand a bit more about computer hardware before you start multiboxing.

Adding a monitor is simple, you buy it and plug it into one of the secondary ports on your graphics card.

In short you need a video card that has multiple monitor ports.

Then get another monitor.

Plug it in.

But seriously, monitors are pretty much plug and play, you might have to go to you control panel and set it to horizontal span.

Yeah its very simple to set all this up. Get your 2nd screen get a card with 2 say two DVI out puts. Install the drivers, most come with a program to allow you to set up and configure your dual monitors.

Those won't work. They basically just duplicate the output unfortunately. Pretty much the only thing to do is either get a 2nd GFX card or get one with multiple outputs.
