Well, as it is... the Ctrl Alt L to launch and rename the wow windows suddenly stopped working, I have no idea why, i haven't changed anything. it was working last night and when I woke up this morning it wasn't.
I'd appreciate a response on this seeing as my last request got unanswered.
I'm using HotKeyNet
//-----------------------------------------------------------
// SUBROUTINE TO LAUNCH AND RENAME A COPY OF WOW.
//-----------------------------------------------------------
<Command LaunchAndRename>
<SendPC %1%>
<Run "F:\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe">
<RenameTargetWin %2%>
//-----------------------------------------------------------
// HOTKEY TO LAUNCH AND RENAME BOTH WOW'S.
//-----------------------------------------------------------
<Hotkey ScrollLockOn Alt Ctrl L>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW1>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW2>

*Bump*
Come on man, I'm sick of this. I've never gotten a reply on here and I've had to work around a lot of things but this I can't.

Sorry to suggest things you've probably checked but you didn't post any of the errors you're getting or even the blue text which will show you what is happening so I have to start with the common things.
1. Your script requires scrollLock to be toggled on in order to work...is it on?
2. Is the location correct? Default install for vista is in the public folder have you made sure the recent patch didn't change any file locations?
3. Do you have the hotkeys toggled on? I personally use scrollLock to make it not broadcast to a second PC while ~stops hotkeys all together...I've found myself stuck for a bit with one or the other toggled accidently.
Without more info or the rest of the script it's gonna be hard to track down what's going on...

My apologies...
1.Scroll lock is on
2.Yep, the location is still the same as when it worked.
3.Hotkeys are also turned on.
The blue writing doesn't say anything but when a normal key (That would be sent) is pressed the red writing informs me it couldn't find wow1 or wow2 and the hotkey for renaming manually doesn't work either.

Well since you're online and can try it quickly, try commenting out the second line in the hotkey that launches WoW2, the script you posted works fine for me all i edited was the location, I wonder if something is disagreeing with launching the same executable twice.
Make sure any of your spyware/adware/antivirus programs haven't blocked HKN. Hit the show loaded keys button and check to make sure the keys that are loaded look right...they should if nothing changed but it's worth a look. Last thing to try is close out HKN completely open it back up hit the launch key 1 time and copy paste everything from the actions frame here...make sure it doesn't show passwords or usernames before you do that though. Also you might try launching WoW by going to the .exe in the folder and them let it launch hit the "Actions" button at the top of HKN selct rename a window and manually rename the window that way...then see if keys work.
Sorry it's hard to troubleshoot remotely just trying to get a good picture of everything that's happening, it's really weird HKN would change without intentionally modifying a script or options.

Everything is normal, everything is as it should be.
The actions come up with nothing, just the loaded script info.
I don't have my firewall/anti-virus even on.
It seems as though pressing those hotkeys are just not responding at all but every other key send does. I even tried running it from different folders (I have one on my external and one on my local hard drives) but it still didn't respond.
It's annoying me now so I think I'll just do the rename thing manually and wait untill I buy Keyclone or something.
Thanks for your help, really appreciate it but I have a super short temper especially when it should be working 100%.

Ok, wow...
Some people may not believe this as I didn't myself and I certainly would like some feedback or confirmations on this.
I recently had a mouse port (ps/2) break so I had to get a usb mouse until I found a fix. I also use a Logitech usb keyboard. I switched the usb ports around when I put the mouse in.
now this is going to sound crazy, but... I thought I would put the keyboard back in it's original port to, you know, give it the benefit of the doubt, although I saw no logical explanation for it.
Low and behold, all keystrokes and Hotkeys are working normal.
Please, dear god can someone explain how this is even remotley possible? I'm sitting here wondering how on earth this would make a difference.

If the USB port are right next to each other physically no idea..but if it's one on the front and one on the back then it's possible they have a different USB controller this has the remote possibility of making programs that create hooks for kb and mouse actions not interact with the keys properly. In windows they work fine because windows is told directly whats going on with the ports, other applications may not be privied to this information and may stop working.

There's 2 rows at the back and they were on different rows but not Front/Back.
