OK, I've been reading up about this and decided to take the plunge. Going to start with a Pally, Warlock and 3 shammies and see if I can figure this all out. Watching some of the videos it looks like fun. I'm sure to have a lot of questions so please be patient with this MB newbie.
If anyone has any tip for my setup let me know :)
Thanks....

Just a 'lil word of advice, if it's your first group, you might try just one class, or 4 of one class and 1 of another to get your feet wet...it can be pretty daunting when you're starting out to manage several different class types. Either way, good luck and welcome!

Hey Eklipze - welcome ... I've got a mixed team at 77 of pally,priest,3xmage - but I also have a 5 shaman team, a 5 priest team, 5 druid team and a 5 mage team.
I think it kinda depends on what you want to do with them. Siaea is right, boxing 5 of the same class is definitely easier, or 4+1. If you want to run your own heroics as soon as possible, any tank + 4 shamans seems to be the most popular and will probably get you the most info on tips and strategies here.

OK looks like I'll re-roll my warlock into a shammy and run the 1+4 pally and 4 shammies ... thanks for the tips guys.
I used to run just 2 and hand controlled them from eacj computer but this keyclone is really helping with my hand eye coord ... lol

I'd keep the warlock yeh get Curse of the Elements for 13% increase to damage or switch out the pali for a deathnight and spec for ebon plaque bringing another 13% increase to damage
or yeh could switch out the warlock for a balance druid and spec earth and moon for another class that can increase damage by 13% they dont stack :P
Really tough to beat a straight 13% increase to dps especially when everyone in the group has got a blue bar
