I attempt to explain my run a little with my DKs. Kind of just did it off the top of my head without trying to write a script down and make sense of it all.
The video is really over due, and so is the rest of my videos/other things I have mentioned.

I kind of took a little brake from WoW, and a lot of other things involving a computer, (aside from Pr()n) can't get enough of that crap.
Did a little EQ, EQ2, FF11, and kind of did a full circle.
So now here I am, debating on playing WoW again. So I made this video just to get it out there
in hopes that it might irk my interest to play again, (or sooner).

Nice video! I'm always looking to upgrade my macros, would you mind sharing your tanking and dps macros?

lol no problem, its a great video, I just like to see macros so I might be able to upgrade mine by example lol And your macros looked like they really got the job done well. Ive been tweaking my DK macros for about 2 weeks now and im still not happy with them lol.

Lol, woops, I noticed that I said the wrong name for a few things. Vampiric Aura = Vampiric Blood. And on the last blood, Vampiric Aura = Mark of Blood, lol...

I will have to dig a little deeper in my old info to see if I still have my old Attack rotation with Howling blast, trying to remember what it was off the top of my head.

Something like:

/use Trinket
/use Trinket
/castsequence reset=target Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Pestilence, Howling Blast, Blood Strike, Howling Blast, Blood Strike
/cast !Rune Strike

Frost, Unholy, Blood, Frost/Unholy, Blood, Frost/Unholy/Blood, then it resets itself and goes back to IS and PS to renew and rinse and repeate.
Not 100% sure if that is correct, it seems a little off, but I will look into it later when I get off work.

I really wish I could get off my Ferrett on crack mode so that I could finish up that guide that I was writing so that I could help upandnewcomers. But now that my build is nerfed, I would have to take the time to replay a new set of DKs and do some more testing to explain it... I guess it would help to some extent, but, lol.

The difference now is, you can use the Pestilence Glyph, and only do Icy Touch and Plague strike once for a longer rotation of using Obliterate and such, since HB is dead for 5 box Dks.

Also, depending on your spec, you can get the frost talent that keeps Obliterate from consuming IT/PS and that makes for an even more complex rotation.
Also, go with Reaping in the Unholy tee, and you get Death Runes when you use Pestilence and Blood Strike so.. It's all up to you.

Something like:

Start off the rotation<>
/use Trinket
/use Trinket
/castsequence reset=target Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Pestilence, Blood Boil, Obliterate, Obliterate, Pestilence, Blood Boil, Obliterate... and so forth.
/cast !Rune Strike
/cast !Blood Tap

I did a lot of testing for many hours with different specs. The one I think I have on my main now is the best I could get so far, and the macros I already forgot, been a little while since I last played, but I think the above is close to what it looks like, also, with the new patch, we got a nice little buff to Death Strike, so, you can sub an Obliterate or two with a Death Strike.

(1)Frost, (2)Unholy, Blood, Blood, Frost/Unholy, (1)(2) Frost/Unholy, Blood, Blood, Frost/Unholy.

It's kind of hard to explain, but it loops back around it self because of the Death Rune Master. But with a bit of tweaking, it becomes a powerful macro.

Out of curiosity, I presume this was taken before the nerf to Blood Aura stacking? Have you done anything with 'em post-nerf? Just curious how much difference it made.

Yeah, this was months before that patch I think.

I just now started to get back into my DK's since the patch. Somewhat annoyed by recent changes, but that’s life.

Yes, I can still clear Heroics with my DKs, though; they have decent gear now, so it’s not as hard as someone starting out fresh into Heroics.

I was thinking of rolling on a new server to test out the new (well, kind of old) changes they made and test out some dungeon runs with different specs at lower level.

I’ve been doing the Alt thing just like everyone else.

Was Clearing UK at 72 with my Shamans, but got to the last boss and only gave 3 attempts before having to log (was late). Got second form down to 40ish before dying.
Though, I will have to admit, I was running with VERY minimal macros, so maybe with some upgrades in that department, I could clear it.
