So I have started a dual boxing experiment, mostly to get some level 30 characters I had laying around leveled up. I am getting close to 60 on my first set of two and am I am curious which would be more effective for leveling through Outlands/Northrend. Should I keep them paired and continue dual boxing through the outlands content, or should I split them up and solo level them as the RAF XP bonus is gone at 60? Is the hit you take from having only two toons in a group great enough to making leveling them solo the more expedient option?

Thanks for the advice in advance. This site has been a big help so far.

If you still have RAF time available and want to try other classes now is the time to level them up. Don't wait till you have leveled your first group to 80.. make some other toons that you've always wanted to play.

As for your origiinal question, leveling the 2 together is a good idea. You don't take that much of a hit in terms of split experience and collection quests aren't really as bad with just 2.

Anything more than 2 and collection quests are gonna make you suicidal. And leveling just is boring and probably why you would want to start multiboxing in the first place. :>
