update issuse

ok so i go to update my clients and it wont update my folder on desktop with my 4 wow folders it updates my 1 in c:/program files/world of warcraft
and then my 4 other clients on desktop are unusable how can i use the patch on all of my boxing clients without needing to redo my hole interface
up to this point when ever threes a patch iv been redoing all of my macro's addons everything but now its to big to do so to much to keep redoing
any ideals?

Yeah, sounds like a bummer. I could see having to update 5 separate folders taking a long time. I symlinked my folders which made the updating alot easier. I have 6 WoW folders. WoW, WoW1 2 3 4 5. I run all my stuff off of 1-5 and have the Data , interface, Account folders symlinked to the regular WoW. So when I update all I have to do is update WoW then copy and paste the new WoW.exe and 1 other file (can't recall the name because I am at work but it's something similiar) to folders 1-5. Win.

Thanks for the reply, Jubber. I've been wondering about SYM linking my 3 wow's data folders for awhile now to avoid having to patch 3x. In the past, I just launch each wow one at a time, let it patch, then close it.

To the OP...I'm sorry to say but your post was totally impossible to understand. Is English your primary language? If not I apologize, but if it is...plz learn to post intelligibly otherwise I could've maybe offered some insight on how I handle updates with 3 completely independant wow folders.

There was no need for that, it is clear that the OP lives in America. You said you may be able to offer him advice but you already stated that you update your wow folders the slow way. Does it make you feel better about yourself to put others down?
