I just bought one of these so I thought I'd share the good news. 22" Acer LCD for 149!

I'm kind of in love with Asus' offerings as of late. I know they don't manufacture their own displays, but you would have a really hard time finding a 1080p (1900x1200, 1920x1080) resolution monitor on anything similar in price.

They have a whole line of monitors going up to 26", but this is my "fave":

that is the monitor that i'm using right now and i really want to get a 2nd one lol but going to take a lot of sweet talking with the wife on that one lol

But is 1" bigger reall worth like $40 more?

1920x1280 res, 1080p yeah its worth it lol and HDMI hook up as well since i don't get much ps3 playtime on the tv cause my wife has her 'reality tv shows' to watch lol.

lol I guess it would be, I mean I spent about $2200 on my i7 build so what's $40 lol

lol i spent 1400 on my all new desktop, didn't go i7 due to pricing lol.

ASUS M4A79 Deluxe MoboAMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition (Currently O.C'd @ 3.5 had it to 3.6 but only through ASUS AI windows software)
Rosewill RCX-Z5 92mm Two Ball Bearing CPU Cooler (Idle cpu temp currently 29C, full bore roughly 36C)
8gb OCZ DDR 1066
Sapphire Radeon 4870x2 2gb 512 bit DDR5 (Both GPUs clocked at 762MHz and 970MHz with fan running at 60% keeping it at 45C while playing Crysis Warhead full graphics)
Seventeam 750W
750gig WD main h/d

All sitting in a XCLIO Windtunnel tower with 2 250mm Fans on the side.

and of course that monitor i linked lol

not bought with those parts listed above but installed:
250gig WD
1tb WD

LOL I was actually going to go with that same AMD chip before I decided on the i7, that AMD chip is really nice. I woulda had a similar build to yours if I went AMD, minus the ati card, Ive had nothing but bad luck with ati.

xfire and sli don't work for WoW ;(AFAIK Crossfire works fine in WoW if you run in fullscreen. Obviously isn't going to work for boxers but still... :P

lol thinking about getting a 2nd 23" monitor like the one i have and a stand for both lol. wife is going to hate me more then likely but she loves me anyways
