So I've been dual - tripple boxing forever but I've always done it the old fashion alt-tab to glory way. This works fine for me typically but with LOTRO you can't have multiple instance of the game running without some help from other software. So I downloaded Inner Space and ISBoxer and read through how to set everything up but I'm having mouse problems that make things unplayable.

First I started with just Inner Space. I wanted to just do my normal alt tab and wasn't worried about the fancy stuff. I got it to load two instances of the game (although sometimes it doesn't want to work) and I go to use my mouse 1 and 2 buttons in the normal way (mouse 1 clicks to select something, mouse 2 for steering) and all my mouse buttons do is make my camera go panning crazy (one click will send the camera to a top down look or spin it around my toon very fast). I tried it with just one game running and still the same thing.

If i launch the game with Inner Space I can't get my mouse to work, even if it's just one instance of the game. I have to launch the game normally for the mouse to work correctly.

I have vista q4 processor 8g ram razer diamondback mouse.

I tried getting ISBoxer and setting that up in hopes it would fix the mouse issue but no luck. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

The behavior of the mouse would be identical with or without ISBoxer (as you've discovered). I know of several people that play LOTRO using IS and ISBoxer, and this is the first I've heard of this particular issue. I'm thinking it could be related to a LOTRO option, but I don't know which one. I assume you have the game itself in Windowed Mode, and haven't used the "Force Windowed" option in Inner Space, correct? (If you didn't know this option existed, then the answer is yes and dont worry about it).

I don't THINK it would be related to your mouse, but you could obviously try a different one to be sure. If it is, then it's probably something to do with the Razer software.

p.s. As far as I know, you can have multiple LOTRO clients running without additional software.

Razor Mouses, Hate them. Found out they have issues with NForce4 Chipsets. It gave me so much problem that I finally gave mine to a freind in Canada. Seems they don't have issues if your using a intel. From there I went with a Logitech G9 and its been no issues ever since. I am wondering however if it could be two different softwares battling for control? A thought would be to drop the razor software and just use windows default for your mouse and Innerspace with ISBoxer.
