Blizzcon Tickets - Read if you are thinking about going

I know that a number of us are going to be trying to get tickets, personally i only need 3 tickets. The max for each household is 5 tickets. If i am able to get tickets i will buy 5 tickets and sell the remaining 2 tickets for purchase price + 1 beer :D to Dual-boxing members.

I think this may be a great way for our community to support others who are unable to do battle with the "Ticket Monster".

one problem... you need to know the person's name, and a character from their account, they have to be with you with a valid I.D. (drivers license/social security card ect...) and your credit card that you used to purchase the tickets with to get in as well :P so purchase price + 1 beer + some information + meeting schedule heh

i only know that they are going to harass the hell out of you if you don't do all these things because this is what happened to my buddy last year when i bought him a ticket.. i spelled his last name wrong accidentally on the ticket registration and it took about 2 hours to get it sorted out at the counter where we got our badges at >.<
just making sure you don't go off and pay 200$ extra for something you're not going to get to use :P

First of all why would you need a character name? Having a toon is not a requirement to go to blizzcon. It's not just about wow, people go there for other things, like starcraft2 and diablo3.\

Second of all, Just the person who purchases the tickets picks them up. I bought 5 ticket with random names that I handed out to people and there were no issues.

They also stated specifically that you do not need to fill in that information - toon name real name when you buy the ticket.

They only want to see the identification of the BUYER of the tickets, not who the tickets are going to.

The Toon Name and real name are optional and not required.


If I am able to get extra tickets, this will require meeting me at blizzcon to get your tickets at the door.
