Does boosting still give 3x exp?

It'd of course be a guildie so the accounts are not linked.

What was all the talk about boosting nerfs back in late 08?

Did that just not happen?

I think that was the changes they made to boosting, like the 80 your powerleveling your team with can't be linked to your toons your trying to boost or you don't get the xp something like that.

that and they nerfed ZF for boosting, the mobs have that 'hex' ability now that seems easily capable of landing even on a L80, and lots of them have a 'dismounting shot' ability so you can't just round up the whole instance while racing round the loop on your epic mount.

Thus, when I get to boosting (once my prot pally/holy priest team are 80), I will not be doing ZF...I'll just be doing RFC (8-15) -> SFK (15-20) -> SM (20-40) -> BRD (40-45) -> UD Strat (45-60)

I have a few more questions regarding this...

I've been dual-boxing for a while.
My two accounts were RAF linked but my 3 times XP bonus has run out.

If I would want to boost a new character with one of my higher characters, will I only get 3 XP per mob on my new character?
If yes, does it matter that they were RAF linked or would it be the same if the accounts were "normal"?

What would be the most effective way to boost a new character with a level 80 character? (I’m not planning to get another RAF linked account)

I’ve been searching for an answer to this but it seems that all I find is questions about the RAF nerf back last summer, 2009.

If your RAF 90 days has expired then you don't get the 3x EXP anymore, you'd have to RAF in another new account.
