Anyone else have problems with not getting the credits?

I read somewhere else to fart and let it tick twice and that seems to work most of the time but yesterday after weeks of being able to fnish the quest in two pets I went through 7 pets before I got a single credit.

What is your secret for getting this quest to work? Personally I am ready to drop it the timve vs gold just does not seem worth it to me.

I did it once, and then said "F that quest". It's a 'lil bit of a pain to make it worth the cash, IMO.

It works best if you just don't take the quest... that way you don't spend time trying to get the credits and cursing the game!

Don't pull huge amounts of ghouls ect,if you do you wont get the credits.
Less and more explosions is the way to go.
Also if you are boxing this get all your chilled guts,pop an abomination and then kill another one and loot the guts.
I run 5 chars so in total i can have 6 abomination explosions per total run.

This is an easy quest and all my toons have gotten credit every single time. I just grab one of the mobs send him into the crowd and aggro one, have him walk 30 yards or so to attack another and aggro a lot more. Then I click on him and watch h is health. When he gets to about 3000 I explode his head. usually takes 2 or 3 times to finish killing all the mobs I need but it is like 10 minutes work.

I've found that if you're too far away when they blow up you won't get credit, its not that its bugged or not working, you're just out of range.

Gather up your guts and one toon at a time gather up mobs and then blow em up :) just closer than you have been and it should work for you

The process is similar to leveling a hunter using a gorilladin.....the Fart just gathers the mobs and hold aggro. I usually ran completely across the camps, farting intermittently and using attack on spread out mobs to pool them up for the corpse explosion. You can easily take down 10 mobs/abomination using that technique.

Steps to complete this quest easily and quickly:

Grab guts and create abomination. Pet on passive. Run through a side corner of the mob spawn. Fart every time it's up to keep the mobs slowed and aggro'd on the abomination. Get back near edge of the spawn with 10-15 mobs on the abomination. Put pet on STAY and keep running. Give yourself 15 yards or so to get out of explode range. Click explode. .... Profit!!!

Well I just hit 60k today with my mixed team of 80s so I have more than enough for my shammies to get epic mounts. I think I will just skip all dailes for a bit and focus on getting them to 80.

I used to struggle with this quest quite a bit. The key for me is once It hit ctrl-4(fart), I count out loud to 5 then explode. That seems to be the only way to get credit. Try not to round up too many mobs either, I can usually do it with 5 guts.

I've been lucky and was able to hit 13-14 of the mob count in one explosion, and other times, I get none. I've tried several techniques, but I just get 5 guts, and send them in, but put them on follow towards the end to bring them back close to me.

It's a really buggy quest.

I've never seen any bugs with this quest yet. Not sure what you guys are doing that's causing you to not get credit.

Usualy bugs to me and it happened both on my shamans and my mixed team.

Its not in my daily quest round and im very happy that way! :)

What pisses me off is I watch a DK every day, he was doing his dalies same time as me, hop in a horse ride in collect a ton of mobs dismount and pop his guy and get all 15 in one shot. I tried it and it worked great a few times then it just went back to the old no credit over and over again. I watched this guy do it every day for a week straight. He would land run in pop his guy and fly away.

If I ever do dailies again I will skip this one.

On a sidenote if you go check out WoW bug forums an do a search on this quest you will see 100s of posts about it. None of them have a blue response and all them are filled with the usual L2P comments. So WoW is aware of it they have just never done anything about it.
