I'm thinking about using RAF to create a second account for myself, which would probably be a Pally. If I did that, and got my Pally up to level 20ish (like my current Druid), would they then be able to take advantage of the XP bonus? Does this sound like a good way to get these two characters leveled up?

Sounds fine to me. There's plenty of ways to play this combo too, but I'd start out going ret/balance till about 30 or 40, then prot/balance-resto after that. Round em up, hurricane, heal tank, and keep goin.

Your pally will start getting XP at around level 16 grouped with your druid at 20. One way to make it go a little faster and get them closer would be to get a number of quests done on only the pally then have the druid in group and in range to turn in.

You could also start a new druid and level them together. It will probably be faster to get two toons to 20 together with RAF then one one toon to 20 solo or just with help. Just summon one to the other's starting area and go. If you are horde you have to take the BE to the Cow area, Cows do not start with enough BE rep to do the starter quests but BEs can do cow quest right away. It sucks because the cow quests are almost exclusivly drop quests but the last time I ran through the area it seemed like the drop rates had been increased. I do not know if the issue exists on the alliance side.

and of course you'd have the issue of having to travel all the way back to silvermoon to train your pally :(

There are trainers in UC and Org for pallies. Org is just a short flight away from TB.

and of course you'd have the issue of having to travel all the way back to silvermoon to train your pally :(Well, that'd be a problem with any mixed group. Palies can train in org too, but druids only can train in TB if I remember right. Just have your hearths set to Dalaran or Shatt, go to each respective trainer, then from there, you can summon the other to the city where you plan to fly from.

Great info, thank you. I decided to start a Mage on my original account, to accompany the Pally until he can benefit from questing with the Druid. I don't really have a lot of interest in a Mage, but hey, it's a throwaway character for the next 20ish levels.

There's a druid trainer ('http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=16655') in Silvermoon as well.

If you are going to RAF, you can do as many characters as you want, all the way to 60, don't forget - you have 90 days to try stuff out.

Druids also get teleport to Moonglade. Assuming you're willing to corpse-hop to some flightpaths early on, you can get the connecting to Org {this also assumes you're Horde...}. Then just pop the druid to Moonglade and train, put them on the FP back to Org and train the pally in Org while waiting for your druid to get there.

That is a good way for Druids. I found out my setting the hearth to a different place on each toon works well also. The BE can goto SM and the Druid can go to TB, many ways to fly. Then use the summons to move them back together.

For transportation, I created level 1 alts and positioned them at strategic points. That way when I wanted to go there, I'd log that in...do the summon friend...then log that one out to summon the other member of the team. Quite handy.

As I was boosting, I had an alt in Org, TB, UC, Silvermoon......summoning stone for WC, SM, ZF and Strat.

Although when it came to playing them....they had very few flight paths :s

It is RAF. Keep your hearth near a trainer and RAF summon back. When I did a BE priest and a Cow Warrior. The BE kept her hearth in the starting area for the first few levels and did just that. At 10 they went to SFK to get boosted anyways.

Plus it is RAF you don't need to train all that often, even with only two you can get away with training every 4-6 levels.

Also druids can get a direct flight back to TB from Moonglade.

A mage makes an excellent leveling partner. Hell you can probably just wand half the time at lower levels. Or just spam firebolt. I think only a priest would be better for heals/rez on the pally.
